Hi girls, considering going out 1st time as me. It will be a private venue, group meeting of CIS and transgender females, just not confident enough  ::) in my looks, dont want to scare anyone with my face.

I would be very happy to hear your true opinion.
This is my 1st photo with wig, also I did my eyebrows. Comments on make up also appreciated.
And yes, there is still visible beard shadow, which I am planning to fix with dermablend, as lipstick trick is not working well for me.

You look female. The thing that gives you away here is the beard shadow. Otherwise it's good!

You're really very cute and have great potential, nice eyes and eyebrows, good job! The wig really complements and goes well with the shape of your face. I can see what appears as a little beard shadow. I'm not an expert on beard shadow cover ups, perhaps one of the other women here will have some good advice on that. But I like your looks, quite feminine and basically pretty.

Doing my eyebrows was really a funny experience, like the old proverb "measure twice and cut once"  :)

I hate it and to make things worse, it grows so fast.

Thank you both Shantel, 930310 for your nice comments. I am yet to start HRT, which gives me hope for new exciting changes  :) :

If you intend to transition my best advice would be to get started on facial hair removal right away as it seemingly takes forever. Electrolysis is slow going, if your hairs are dark then laser is the way to go. If you start early then you should be all clear by the time you have transitioned fully.

Trillian you look lovely! Shantel is right, hair removal does take a long time! If you have sensitive skin though, i would recommend laser instead of electroylsis. Maybe i had a bad practitioner, but after a few sessions my skin got quite dry and sore (and been that way now for three months).

30-something and have quite a lot white ones, so looks like I have to do a mix of laser and electrolysis. Planning a visit to a specialist next week, to recommend the best option. Seeing a therapist already, but I think I have at least 6 months until hormone prescription.

Thank you :). This is what I am affraif of, heard a lot about unpleasant results after electrolysis by inexperienced practicioner

Trillian, not sure where you live, but the latest WPATH SOC states that a latter of referral for HRT is not necessary in order to go on HRT.  If your therapist is suggesting otherwise, or won't address your inquiry into the matter, and you don't want to waste all that time for a letter, then find another therapist.  They work for you, not the other way around.   ^-^
10-13 tried mother's finger nail polish, dresses and her heels
23 phase of body building and then suddenly cross dressing and wearing makeup
26 started calling myself Kristy in my voicemail recording
36 saw therapist, went on HRT and partially identified as Kristy
37 moved and started HRT again, dressing a little more feminitely
41 started HRT again, and wife made agreement if I would give up Kristy
45 started HRT again, this time for good, because wife didn't hold up her end of the agreement.  New agreement with 11 year old son and wife is that Kristy be present only at certain times and not around strangers or family, unless they are ready to be a part of Kristy.

It's been awhile since I posted in this thread lol But I've started to change a few things about myself so I figured I'd post again. I've gotten a bit of a different haircut, more layering, side swept bangs. Also I've been practicing with makeup, and I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it :) Thoughts?

If you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have noticed.  I'm not even sure I see it right now because everything else is so pretty and feminine.  You should go to that meeting feeling very confident!

Trillian I think you look great. I didn't even notice the beard hair you mention when I first looked at your photo, and if you hadn't had mentioned it I wouldn't have during my second look. Your eyebrows have a nice curve also.

One thing worth mentioning when it comes to removing beard hairs (I loathe the wretched things and have been treating myself for almost a year) and why it takes so many treatments to rid ones self of them using lasers and IPL devices (I have both) is the simple fact that these devices only work while the hair is in the growth phase. And, this is why facial hair is soooo extreemly evil. For at any given time only 30% of facial hair is in the "growth" (anagen) phase. So in essence, during each treatment it's only possible to treat 30% of the facial hair you have. The remaining 70% is either in the "resting" (telogen) or "degradation" (catagen) phases, which can last for six weeks on up to six months depending on the individual. Unwanted hairs elsewhere on the body respond much better and can be gotten rid of with less treatments for the "growth" phase lumps to 63% for leg hair & the percentage of treatable hairs goes only up from there. Facial hair is the only hair on the body that has such a low percentage of hair in the growth phase, and why I consider each and every one of them the most wretched repulsive evil discusting things that they are.

Though I've posted this information elsewhere on other threads, I thought it may help some of the girls here to know why facial hair is the hardest of unwanted hairs to get rid of. Yes you can rid yourself of them (I have only a few grays due to my being 49 years old, left to deal with), it just takes many treatments and time. ;)

Will challenge the therapist, just realized I am not informed much about requirements to start HRT. Need to dig in for more information.

alrighty so, im pre everything. never even tried cross dressing in my life, so bare in mind i look like a complete guy and this is probably the complete wrong thread to post in,
But i guess i want to get some opinions on how i can start slowly making myself look more feminine and stuff. Gonna get my hair cut differently and die it a bright colour or something really wacky and weird. but yeah.
So ignore the crappy hat, and the crappy beard. just want to get a general opinion on my face and if i put in a LOT of work if i could in time, possibly pass one day like you girls :D.

(sorry for the crap picture. its the only one i can find of me. and keep in mind im younger than i look :p)

Oookay, here goes.

I'm obsessed with passing, to the point where it's what I'm thinking about day, night, even in my sleep. Obviously I'm still in the closet right now and have done little, but I sort of feel like any chance of passing is gone. I'm 22, have a horrible nose and brow ridge with a dimple chin and a beard shadow that will NEVER go away (jet black hair on deathly pale skin). I took these on lunch today, has testosterone destroyed any chance of me?

This is a side view of what I'm talking about, I broke my nose against a brick wall when I was about 10 and it has never fully healed :( :

Thanks

If you are pre everything you will do fine. Try to smile more though, it really feminizes a lot. The only things obvious to me is like you said, your nose and you will probably need brow bossing. Other than that you have a great face shape and should do very well, especially on HRT!

Give us a better picture you goof! lol

From what I see (which is not much due to the hat and the beard and the goofy facial expression) I think you will do fine. ^.^

The first thing that stuck out to me was the eyebrows.   You can start plucking those away now, and that will go a long way.

It is never too late! Since you are pre-everything and young you have a very good chance of getting very good results. As for the beard, if it's that dark you could try to get laser for it. If that won't help there is always electrolysis.
