Barbie, I think the fact that you look so feminine, and probably ooze estrogen as well, and that your face is on the positive side of androgynous, leaves no doubt as to what you are presenting as.

Studies have shown that estrogen clouds the judgement of men, and clears the mind of every trans girl ;)
I agree with this -especially the last sentence, lol! ;)

Thanks! Valiantx, Stephanie and Allyda,

I do not know the level of estrogen in my body, but passing now becomes another matter. People accept my wearing miniskirt too well. Even my graduate students do. Nowadays I am a little bit confused. They all know me and my family very well. Do they consider me as a man or a woman? Which restroom do I have better to enter?

I do not know what point I will ever reach. So far, people accept me too well.

Yesterday midnight I had a drink with my colleagues.

One man asked me why I do not wear silk stockings. I replied it is chilly cold at night. The other two girls were criticized because of their poor dress.

I do not know whether I passed, but I used women's restroom.

You pass Barbie. Have some faith in yourself.

So ...... Barbie .... we're all dying to know.  When are going to give into yourself, and update your signature to say "Pre-HRT"?
10-13 tried mother's finger nail polish, dresses and her heels
23 phase of body building and then suddenly cross dressing and wearing makeup
26 started calling myself Kristy in my voicemail recording
36 saw therapist, went on HRT and partially identified as Kristy
37 moved and started HRT again, dressing a little more feminitely
41 started HRT again, and wife made agreement if I would give up Kristy
45 started HRT again, this time for good, because wife didn't hold up her end of the agreement.  New agreement with 11 year old son and wife is that Kristy be present only at certain times and not around strangers or family, unless they are ready to be a part of Kristy.

Yes. I once tried HRT, but the doctor refused it because I have family. But he said he will do if I visit again with my wife and she consents to it. Nowadays I think I may not need HRT for my happy life.

I actually believed that you had been on HRT for several years when I saw your pictures. If you ever go on HRT you will look amazingly amazing.

I don't think this issue, for Barbie, is as much about the potential of HRT as it is about weighing the losses as a result of going on HRT against the benefits of staying away from it.

Maybe we should cheer her on.  Bar-bee! Bar-bee!   :D

Good call, I'm for that and understand her concerns intimately. Being an avid Barbie fan myself I think she's terrific without it.

Thanks! Yes. Some people say like that.

A few of my friends are doctor, and they are indeed supportive of me, as we have maintained friendship since my teens. But they do not recommend HRT to me, as they know my wife and kids very well. Also, the physician, who underwent several hundred cases of SRS, recommended me not to get HRT, although the psychiatrist approved it. He said I can enjoy my lifestyle without HRT.

Natalia

As I posted on another topic...I finaly bought a wig and female clothes...so...how bad am I? Can I pass at least a bit?

Please, sincere opinions...I already know about my nose and the need of FFS, that will probably be afforded by my grandparents....they accepetd me after all...

I would like opinions about the hairstyle and other things I can change.

I am so depressed because I lost my mother...and I decided to let Natalia out and try to be free...it's beem so hard, but at the same time I felt good being myself.

You look nice and quite feminine Natalia. In my opinion, the middle photo has the best hairstyle and gives you an overall softer look. I think the lighter color shirt shows off your facial features more. However I'd try and find something feminine in the lighter colors. That looks like a man's T shirt your wearing.
Although, I'm constantly wearing those same kind of tanks your wearing in photo 2.

So happy to hear your Grandparents are going to accept you for who you are.

I absolutely loooove that necklace your wearing in the first photo.

Currently I am pre-everything so this is more of a do I have a decent chance of passing with just HRT or will I need FFS? I have my first therapy session in about 3 weeks and a doctor's appointment (specialty in trans* care) the following week.

Sorry for the poor image lighting; I am currently working out of state (for 2 more weeks) so I am using my cell phone and poor lighting.

Will the veins on my forehead be a major issue or is that something that gets hidden by fat redistribution during HRT?

(I hope the images post properly)

Edit: I think I fixed the images...
