I've been listening to various Hardcore/Punk bands on Spotify all day. (Germs, Negative FX, Die Kreuzen, GG Allin, Slapshot, Negative Approach) They tend to recycle the same commercials during the breaks. There is one commercial in particular, I think it is for a school or something, where this little girl says "can we do that again?" and I SWEAR it sounds like what Portia Porcupine would have sounded like had she been voiced by an actual little girl rather than an adult. It cracks me up every time that I hear it.

I was listening to a general knowledge quiz on the radio this morning, and one of the questions was: "Which musical features characters named Riff Raff, Brad, Janet and Frank-N-Furter?".

The contestant answered... 'Grease'.

Somebody needs to make that happen. That's a mash-up I would totally go to see.

I was hanging out, listening to Gwar and singing along at pretty much the same volume as the stereo. I heard a knock on the door so I turned the stereo down.

It was the cops. They said 'hello' and I replied: "Hi! How are you?" and I swear..the voice that came out of my mouth was like a mixture of friggin Sasami Masaki Jurai and Portia Porcupine. 

Apparently, they weren't there because of my loud volume. They were asking about my neighbors and a certain car of their's. I don't associate with the neighbors other than a random "hello" and that's about it. So, I told them I had no idea about that and that they had a lot of visitors so it could be anyone's car.

But that voice...

Listening to a GG Allin live show from 1987 at The Rocket in Providence, R.I. The band only knows 5 songs but they stay on stage for just over an hour while GG rambles like an idiot. It's so ridiculous but it's so hilarious in how absurd it all is.

Standing in a store check out line the woman behind me saying "Look at that girl trying to be a boy. Why cant they be normal like us"? 

This song has been popping in and out of my head for days now.

Makes me giggle every time I think about it.
