hmmm a few more (the same I posted on another topic) but I appreaciate sincere comments, as always  ;D

Pratically no make-up, a cheap wig that I'm not sure if it fits well my face and some feminine clothes...

How bad is it this time?

Natalia,
You look prettier each time you post! All you really need is facial laser to get rid of the stubble, a tracheal shave for the Adams Apple, and a really nice wig or two any you will be good to go. You have a remarkably pretty smile and nice teeth which is a big asset and will be disarming to those who look at you twice. Your natural hair is beautiful on the sides and back, but the top front hairline is too high and thin, perhaps in time if you used finasteride to offset the effects of DHT it may come in more fully there, meanwhile wear a nice wig and enjoy your female life.

There's some things you can already start doing:

1. Get rid of your beard. Start electrolysis or laser...it takes a long time, so the sooner the better.
2. Ask to have your eyebrows thinned and arched a bit. It will make a lot of difference.
3. Lose some weight. Not only it will be good for your health and will help you to look more feminine, but it will also be something harder to achiev while on HRT...
4. You have some brow bossing and, on the future, perhaps you should do a FFS to reduce it.
5. Grow your hair!!!

But overall I think your face is very good and have a lot of potential. HRT will make you a pretty woman!

New photos. Was feeling low in terms of confidence the other day but I needed a bit of pick me up and decided that I would take some photos to try and help with the boost. Sorry for always posting here.

Byes!!!! It's been real but this place isn't for me. Good luck in the future everyone.

You'll do great Hayley. You have nice youthful skin, beautiful eyes, a narrow jaw, and from what I can see a great head of hair. You have a lot going for ya, so chin up! You are going to be gorgeous!

@ Jessica, Handy & Mariee: Thank you very much for your kind words ^^ I'm glad to know that I'm looking better, but still I feel I can't pass...this is indeed my biggest fear.

Thank you for the opinion Allyda! ^^

Am I looking like some aging Siouxsie Sioux lol? that would be a compliment if we were on the 80's (I love her style!)

But which other wig are you referring to? The blonde? That was really good, but it was a virtual wig  :-\

Can this wig be saved? I accept any sugestions :)
The one your wearing in your Avatar Natalia. That's the one that gives you a softer feminine look. ;)

Alright, let's see if this works. 1st time trying to insert pictures in a post ;p
So here a picture from an early cross dressing experiences a few months ago.
I'm hopeful hrt could make me passable with laser hair removal (beard) and slight forehead contouring, what do you think?

Thank you Allyda! ^^ I'm much more relieved now  ;D

Believe it or not, it is the very same wig! It just happens that the hair was pulled back and probably better placed on my head   ::)

I still have a lot to learn of "how to wear wigs properly"  ;)

I'm no expert but I'll pitch in my two cents, I'm positive you can pass but here is what I would suggest:

Your forehead is well rounded which is good, as with most of us the hairline is lower in the middle than with cisgirls but nobody can see under our wigs :)

Try making your eyes bigger, if you can pluck eyebrows from the bottom this will have the desired effect, darker eyeshadows blended up and out and eyeliner top/bottom 2/3rd of the way in should help.

Try making your cheeks more prominent and nose\chin narrower. I suggest a bit of matt white eyeshadow down the ridge of the nose and chin blended in, use bronzer or similar under your cheekbones to make the cheekbones appear more prominent and the apply a bit of blush on the cheek itself.

Amazing what a close shave, lots of concealer an affordable wig (incognito) and dim lighting will do ;)

I'ma gonna be brutal, chica-dee. You've got a largely maximized brow ridge (maxillary sinus). You make a pretty chick in the pictures but you'll have a difficult time being 100% stealth if you don't go the FFS route. I'm not saying it's impossible to do but I *am* saying that you've got several critical characteristics which won't change.

That said, stealth is just one of several options you have available to you.

Topic says it all, I'll post better full body shots when I figure out how to get the lighting fixed.

Pull your hair off your face, babe. We're looking at facial structure here, not 'could my best glamor shot pass by someone?'

Hmmmmm.... well, you've got a rather wide chin and jaw but your brow ridge is minimal and you've got nice eyes. HRT should be good for you and you should be able to pass most of the time in urban areas without FFS.

P.S. - Hi everybody, I'm Tori. I'll be checking in here regularly to provide honest feedback daily from now on as I've seen a bit too much fuzzy bunnies in this thread for a while now and setting realistic expectations for outcome is a really important thing for mental health, peeps.

'Till tomorrow.

I like your brutal truth Victoria ;) Actually, I'm fairly aware of my large brow ridge which I would like to fix with ffs... my nose could probably use a bit of smoothing as well... and let's not forget my bulging adam's apple which we don't really see in the pictures.

My question would be: Do you think it's better to have ffs done before starting hrt?

Thanks for your valuable opinion :)

Cheers,

No. Not at all. Not remotely. No. FFS should be probably the *last* thing you do and be used as a last resort only. It's invasive, painful, and has the highest percentage of complications for all TS transition related procedures. Give HRT the time to do it's thing. Get you some laser or electro. Get a nice dermabrasion to clear up your pores. Get some boobs and a hoo-ha. After all that, if you really think that it's what you want, save up for and do FFS.

Thank you Victoria ^^

It is really important for us to know the crude reality, the worse it may sound. I know many people gives positives responses because it's what we need to hear to boost our self-esteem and, as this is a support group, people usually don't want to make other people feel bad or trick any degree of disphoria by telling them harsh things.

But the problem is that this is a topic where the truth is really required. We can't delude ourselves and think we are looking marvellous when we are not.

You know, I was considering sending you a PM asking you to give me your opinions about my pics, but you were faster than me on some minutes  :D And your words and critics were good for me too. I thank you for being sincere and I also feel good knowing from a high critical and avaliative person that I will probably be able to pass  ;) I plan to have FFS on the future, but as I can't do it right now, it was very important to me to know if I will or will not be able to pass without it.

On being honest: We all start from the perspective of being Trans and knowing in advance that the posters are Trans. I agree that it is important to be honest since creating false bravado could lead to hurt once a poster walks into that brick wall of the cisworld. I also agree that the best pics to post are those that are what we would expect to see on the street and not the boudoir. On the other hand,  I think that there is honest and "brutally" honest. Kindess always works and I hope that those on the receiving end understand that we only want you to succeed.

From my perspective I haven't posted here yet because I have not started a transition. It is a very important thread for me though since I use it to give myself hope that things may turn out for the best for me as well. As such I would like to thank everyone for having the courage to stick your "face" as well as your neck out by posting.
