Just back from shopping ^.^  No makeup, though I should do my nails probly and some cover up. Honest opinions, suggestions?

Originally I had died it black, then i bleached it back to blonde ^.^ Works like a charm :) Altho honestly I think just bleaching, i got to reddish and white scattered across my head and its mellowed out in the past few months to that shade of blonde. That and Ive been the Main and Tail Shampoo and Condit, thot it would hurry my hair out, it did a lil, but it really made my hair all shiny C:

Yeah, see I did the same thing. I'm naturally dark brown haired buy I dyed it black then bleached it blonde, and for almost a month I had a nice, white blonde, but then it started getting brassy and orange for some reason even though I used toner and my dark roots were coming in like an inch and I was just like F this I'm going brown again. Buut now I have a nice mix of dark and light browns and golds so it worked out.

I can't wait for my hair to get looong tho hahah xD

Your hair in your profy looks gorgeous, I think Id rather have that than mine. My roots are starting to show a bit more, but im not sure what Ill do, as I want to grow my hair out as fast as possible, and bleach kinda damages it. Decisions decisions lol. Im like dark blonde normally, so its not too horrible a difference xD

Id love for my hiar to grow sayy, 7 inches overnight, id be like "hell yea" lol

Aww thanks, it has its ups and downs, but I seriously love your hair. Blonde suits you, and when its long its gona be fantastic. I can't pull it off cuz my natural hair is reaally dark brown so my roots look stupid against blonde when they start coming in, which is pretty fast.

Yeah, honestly? 7 inches Id be at like 12, 13 inches. I would be so thrilllled xD buut patience is a virtue I guess..tho I've never been very virtuous :\

I'm not sure what the rules are on this thread, being new and all, but I'd give you honest feedback ^_^

Ok well it's hard to find a true to life pic but here is sorta what I look like now...idk why it makes my head look so much bigger than reality but I guess keep in mind that I am proportioned like a totally average girl... it seems harder to pass as male in person than in pics but.

I'm not gonna give up the long hair and I'm not wearing makeup there but ofc I'd bind and I guess the wardrobe would *have* to change... oh well. And please don't tell me "ohhh you look so girly," that's not what I wanna hear at all, just honest opinions.

EDIT: yah just to show how much distortion happens in pics, here is a dumpy other pic of me: pic

Lol id be happy with 12 or 13 inches too, but i was trying to keep it "realistic" xD.

I cant wait for my hair to grow out nice and long, Ill be ecstatic, party lol. You honestly look great with the hair at its current length, its quite cute, but Im sure when it gets longer youl be quite model worthy, and give those cis girls a run for there money :)

In the first pic you look a bit androgynous. Still female but I could see you passing as a boy with effort, but it'd def take effort. In the second one, I dunno, you look more feminine but you also look like Kate Moss. As a boy I'd see you as looking similar to Cillian Murphy.

Thank you for your reply Barbie!

So, I get the impression I'm not getting too many replies because people are finding me unpassable or unattractive. Just wanna say, please don't refrain from commenting if you don't find me passable! I'm a bug girl, I can take brutal honesty :)

Riversong,

I think your attitude and confidence will be more critical in passing than your appearance. Here in my hometown, nearly everybody watches me whether they know I am a dad or not. Most people accept and regard my expression of femininity, once they know that it is not just a hobby or a queer thing, but I am serious about that. Passing is actually meaningless to me.

Always be confident.

Cillian Murphy????:D Gurl he's like 6' and lanky, idk about that. Thanks though. I'm not trying to force anything, like I said I'm not gonna chop off my  hair or anything drastic, just wondering I can fall on the boy side of andro without giving up glam. Maybe something like Christian Siriano if he went off the deep end. Hahah.

(I totally get what you are saying though. Even if it's not exactly like in pics I always felt like there's something more definitely male about my face and that it's my overall size that keeps me from passing as one) :)

Haha I was talking strictly about the features:

I think its mostly the eyes and mouth. I think Cillian has beautifully androgynous features. The difference is his presentation leans male andyours leans more female but I feel like with effort one way or the otherboth of you could pull of either (he's 5'9 btw).

If you bound (cuz gurrrl/boi, you bleessed haha), wore masculine clothing, and tried to sound like a dude (altho don't try too hard cuz I did at one point and just got called a dyke haha) and styled your hair a bit different (im so fraacking jelly of your hair btw) I feel like you could pass as a long haired guy and be quite good looking.

Okay, although you do have feminine features, I think the things that scream feminine are the eyebrows (esp.) and the hair. With the ponytail in the 2nd picture, you need to pull the bangs straight and pulled back with the rest of the hair, with your hair out (like in the first picture) your hair has too many highlights and looks too soft/nice (hehe) for a guys hair. You'd need to cut it all to one dead length and/or dye it a straight up consistant brown throughout, and maybe not wash it for a few days :P With your feminine features, wearing your hair like that would certainly make you look more androgynous. The eyebrows are your most feminine feature though, stop plucking from beneath so that the raised arch vanishes somewhat, you want it thicker and flatter. Because you have very soft facial features (your lips, eyes, and skin in general) you need to offset this by presenting some more masculinity in the things you can alter in order to be more androgynous, otherwise you'll just look tomboyish.

barbie~~, but how can you be sure they are "accepting and regarding" ?? I, too, live in an Asian community and noticed the stares. Asians are much more reserved in their reactions in general, and if something has caused them to watch and stare, then I would know I'm not being perceived in a right and natural way. That something appears out of place. A man who's feminine acting yet confident just doesn't make him pass alone. I know it's going to take a lot more than just dressing like a teeny girl and confidence. Getting stared at is a symptom of this happening, stares to me mean I've been clocked which I would consider far from being accepted and regarding. That's why I need to be sure I truly pass as female so my confidence can go hand in hand and isn't overconfidence.

Yes. A good point.

Strangers in the street have no business with me. I do not care whether I pass or not to their eyes. I am saying  my acquaintances.

Most people I interact with every day know that I am a dad. They include college and graduate students, post-docs, and other university folks. Female colleagues tend to be closer (both spatially and psychologically) to me when I wear skirts and heels. Male colleagues praise my sense of fashion, as most women here wear plain and dull clothes.

I know that there can be some people who dislike me. But, what can they do to prevent me from expressing myself? Nothing. Just avoiding me is their best measure. I have many friends and colleagues to interact and spend time together in restaurants and touring places. In every week, at the least 3-4 guests visit my home town (the most famous tourist destination in my country).

The point is that people evaluate and regard you based on your career, professional performance and attitude, not by your beauty. Thus, passing is nearly meaningless to me, although I prefer passing to strangers in the street.

I guess what's throwing me off is the jaw hahah. I have such an underdeveloped jaw ;o; but yeah I can see the eyes. And once your hair is longer it will be super pretty and probably look similar so <3

Okay well thanks for your honest opinion

I don't know, you guys think I have to go masculine instead? I can do the brows, a pony tail with my hairline visible, idk, any updo seems to make it way harder to pass as a boy but maybe it's different with the whole deal. Messy... yah I won't do unclean or short hair. Clothes I could make androgynous but not drab. Still haven't tried buying boy clothes though, maybe I will look at unisex stuff.

At some point I'll try to do this stuff and post another pic later. Thanks for all your help.  :)

@chic cute :) sorry if I haven't heard but why do u have to wait for HRT? Is it cause you're too young?
