I guess what's throwing me off is the jaw hahah. I have such an underdeveloped jaw ;o; but yeah I can see the eyes. And once your hair is longer it will be super pretty and probably look similar so <3

Okay well thanks for your honest opinion

I don't know, you guys think I have to go masculine instead? I can do the brows, a pony tail with my hairline visible, idk, any updo seems to make it way harder to pass as a boy but maybe it's different with the whole deal. Messy... yah I won't do unclean or short hair. Clothes I could make androgynous but not drab. Still haven't tried buying boy clothes though, maybe I will look at unisex stuff.

At some point I'll try to do this stuff and post another pic later. Thanks for all your help.  :)

@chic cute :) sorry if I haven't heard but why do u have to wait for HRT? Is it cause you're too young?

There are certain rules on here regarding one's age that I can't break, so I won't be specific, but yes, it does have to do with being too young

Ok well it's hard to find a true to life pic but here is sorta what I look like now...idk why it makes my head look so much bigger than reality but I guess keep in mind that I am proportioned like a totally average girl... it seems harder to pass as male in person than in pics but.

I'm not gonna give up the long hair and I'm not wearing makeup there but ofc I'd bind and I guess the wardrobe would *have* to change... oh well. And please don't tell me "ohhh you look so girly," that's not what I wanna hear at all, just honest opinions.

EDIT: yah just to show how much distortion happens in pics, here is a dumpy other pic of me: pic

Well you'd have to stop taking hormones to make you skin less smooth, you'd def have to stop plucking your eyebrows, cut your hair to chin length, and then, yeah you could. Your presentation would have to totally change. I have the same problem with pics. In them, I look too male for my tastes, but in person, someone called me little mama today (it happens all the time causse that's what women get called in philly, at least young women, if your older, your mommy)...anyhoo, I said "Don't call me Little mama I'm a dude...even in my best dude voice...and dude looked at me like I was psychotic...so I told him I was just high and messing with him and then he just like "ahight girl." I wasn't wearing makeup (well except for foundation and some light blush, but nothing dramtic or noticable) and I'm pretty sure he thought I was nuts or freebasing but once u pass a certain point it become much harder especially if ur andro before hand, which I believe you were.

I guess my point is that yeah you could do it but you'd have to stop hormones and plucking (at least such a femm arch). Point blank. You could keep the hair for the most part, NO UP DOs, and you'd pass.

But, you

More boyish than the last, no makeup, tho I did put mascara on last night, so it might be lingering. But to hell with it ^.^

Love is love, you are you, if the world cant see that, laugh and carry on. <3

Hey Hey Hey,

Big weekend spending spree = Yay new photos!

I am soooooo bloody happy that my breasts have developed to a stage where I don't really need a breastform any more...sure they are small but they are real and they are mine <3

My hips are rather filling out, which is niiiiiice

I get really shocked when I see a side/rear profile nowadays...where did dat ass come from!?

I really need to learn how to take better selfies...these angles are haaaard and fairly unflattering

Super up close creepy shot

4 months in and overall i'm happy with how things are going, seeing more and more o myself in the mirror each day :)

Thoughts/opinions always welcome! <3
You say "Using humor as a defence mechanism" like it's a BAD thing!

Looking great Danniella. Your filling out nicely. I'm about like you with my boobs. Yes they're growing and have rounded out but they're still small. My biological Mom wasn't that big so I don't expect I'll be more than a B cup at the most. But they're all naturale and mine all mine, and I'm proud of them so far.

You really are blooming girl. I can't wait to see photos of you after you've been on hrt for a year or more. And wait til that hair grows out!! I'll have finally posted some of me before then as well. I plan to post them at the 6 month mark.

That's cool. Barbie would you consider yourself a transgender or are you really a cross-dresser?

Those labels are not important to me, but I consider myself as both of them.

Today I was in a beach here with my daughter.

Yeah you got it. Definitely looking feminine. I won't say it if I don't mean it. You are passing!

I can't say you pass, the short cheerleader skirts are just not fit for your age and isn't really complimenting you. The outfits are too school-girl like and makes your legs and arms appear lanky when it doesn't have to be.

You would appear much more passable if you dressed closer to your age and conservatively. Seriously.

I disagree, Barbie is Barbie and she has her own sense of style that suits her personal tastes. I wouldn't waste any time trying to make anyone to conform to how I dress and present myself publicly, it's no-one else's business and frankly pretty nervy.

I guess, but some moderate opinion is needed.

Not trying to be mean at all, but remember this thread topic is:

Do I Look, or Could I Pass, as Female? 2.0

not

Do I Make A Fashion Statement?

True, but some of the best dressed trans women here will never look truly female or pass and that's a given, meanwhile I try to focus on what they are doing right rather than the negatives. We build one another up focusing on positive aspects of people's presentation. I for one would never pass and find that it's not really important for me, but we do have folks who are narcissistic and love to put up photos of themselves and I want to respect that and temper my criticism about those things that aren't perfect because we are all painfully aware of our imperfections already.

Concurred and I appreciate what you said immensely. It does keep me humble.

Let's carry on.

Uh Oh.

Actually I did not go out today to pass, but to enjoy the spring with my family. That is what I usually wear at home and my work place.

Definitely it was not for sensible fashion. However, I will welcome critical feedback regarding my fashion in another thread: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,158990.0.html

Evelyn is right in some sense, as my wife and some of my friends say I will look better if wearing a longer skirt. I like wearing like teen girls.

I do not try hard to pass, but I sometimes do care about my fashion, especially when I meet other people or attend a formal meeting.

Cheers,

Barbie you have amazing legs I would want to flaunt them too!! And without HRT o.O amazing!

I don't know how long or when it happened but I can now say I finally have girl legs!! Woohoo

I've always been very skinny and my knees always looked knobby to me, but I've gotten a little fat in my knees now and am flaunting them this spring too. I was always wearing leggings with my skirts and dresses, and just started to wear them without leggings. Feels great to let my legs free, I think I may never wear pants ever again lol! My favorite dresses lately are floor length jersey dresses, just feels so nice to not be so confined in pants all the time I feel like I can breathe!

Anyway you always look great Barbie, and short skirts are your thing, so you just do your thang ;)
