The last few months i have been feeling lower and lower, just cant stop crying and feeling like ending it all, been on antidepressant and every thing nowt has worked, however after a bit of research i have all the classical symptoms of a extremely low T levels in a female. Been on zoladex for 10 years, im a non op. Things seem to be getting worse, it seems the longer i've been on zoladex the lower my t has dropped. Its currently 0.5nmol/L the female range is 0.52–2.4 nmol/L , has anyone else had this problem, i want to achieve normal female levels and see if that makes me feel better. any help /advice is appreciated. :)

Have you gotten a full hormone panel? It could be low T, but it could be any combination of imbalances of T, DHT, E1, E2, E3, P4...

I agree with Emily though in suggesting lifestyle changes too, since exercise has been proven to balance hormones, and stress has been proven to throw them out of whack (cortisol is a testosterone antagonist for example)

You can't lower your T without replacing it with E, and up to normal female levels.  It's a balancing act, think teeter-toter..  You remove the T, but there isn't enough E to bring things in balance.  As everyone else has said, you need blood work to check where your other levels are.  Plus, an honest talk with your Doc about the depression.  Please get a chance, MAKE time to talk to your Doc about this, it's that important!

In my personal experience it is unbalanced estrogen that is behind emotional upheavals. I can't remember if you've said elsewhere on this forum that you're self-medicating (sorry if you're not, I could easily be confusing you with someone else) but from what I've heard it's often a strong contributor to feeling highly emotional. At any rate, like everyone else has suggested, please talk to a doctor and get your blood and hormonal levels fully checked as soon as possible. :)

Well since she already knows her T level, I am sure it's not a self medding issue ;)

The endocrinologist I go to told me a while back about "estrone" dominance which happens most times a person is taking oral forms of Estradiol... I just did a quick search on the googles and here are the symptoms (listed in the product description): http://www.testcountry.com/products.html?product=1895

I am wondering what form of HRT you are on? Maybe it would be a good idea to talk about another delivery method with your doctor?

I'm sorry you are going through this.  I don't know if it is hormonal or not, but I do hope you find yourself out of this.  Good luck and I hope you find peace.

I feel weepy 2 days before my shot is due, but I can hold it back usually. Soon as I take the shot, within an hour I feel mildly euphoric and by the end of the afternoon, 'normal' again. It may be due to the times you take your medication, your absorption rate, etc.

Hugs
