Hello everyone my name Is Ethan im  well a guy. The reason I came here is because I have finnaly made up my mind but before I explain further I would like to tell ypu people more about myself. It all started when I was 6 and I was beggining to feel weird Its just undescribable what I felt about myself, I never felt me is how I use to put it. As the years went by I finnaly understood what was happening I knew what was wrong but I ignored the fact as obvious at it was. I continued my daily life years went on and this problen I had was getting more intense, I no longer wanted to be a guy, I wanted to be a girl. I suddenly couldnt see myself as a boy anymore I began to have dreams about being a girl, oh how I enjoyed them then I woke up as usual I ran to the mirror still the same old me. Its been almost a year now since I started doing research about transgenders and about their life stories. Ive watched countless you tube vids and I cried like no other. They way they had changed and found their selves. Thats whar I want to find myself. Ive never spoke to anyone about it, only my best friend knows about it he has been by my side all this time. I havent told my mother about it she wouldnt understand shed probably just ignore whatever i say. Now its been 8 months pf hard thinking and ive decided to take destiny into my own hands. Ive read about MtF topic a whole lot and about Htc and what It can do. Now i just need someone to talk to amd someone who has sucessfully found his true self to guide me into finding my happiness. Ive made up my mind and im not giving up till I reach my goal and nothing is going to stand in my way by this time next year I will have found myself and finnaly happiness. So people is anyone willing to guide me? Let me know, where I need to start.

Hey Ethan, welcome to the site! ;D

I admire your determination and I'm sure you'll get there. There are plenty of people here who can give you advice and help with proceeding so you'll have no problem with finding a guide. I'm not sure where you live, but since you're likely legally a minor you will probably need to tell your mum about it at some point, before you can begin any treatment for your gender dysphoria. You will very likely want to go and see a therapist who specialises in gender identity first to talk about how you feeling. Even though you've made up your mind, speaking to someone will probably help you a lot, plus they can give you a diagnosis for Gender Identity Disorder which can help with the prescription of HRT.

I'm afraid I have no idea about how you would begin the process in Malaysia. Sadly it seems that LGBT rights in your country aren't very good, so you may have a really hard time if you decide to transition right now. :(

There are therapists who do online sessions which may help you, there's a list here: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,121007.0.html. I'm not sure how much they charge though, so it may be more expensive than is worthwhile.

Wow these are good but Im not capable of contacting these people I cant even afford it. Is there any easier way? Also im going to try coming out of the closet and telling my mum about it hopefully with these two months. And even if she accepts me for who i am? Is it possible to get perscriptions for HRT with out a letter from a therapist? Or can I get HRT products over counter at watsons or guardian?

HRT is prescription only I am afraid. Please start out right and talk to someone such as your doctor or other health care provider. HRT is not to be taken lightly as you are altering your bodies chemistry and if done improperly can harm your liver or other organs. It is also expensive depending where you live and requires regular blood testing to make sure it is at the proper levels. I would warn you not to use herbal supplements in place of HRT. You never really know the quality and the effects are sketchy at best. Take care of your body as it is the ony one you have. :)

So i explained everything to my fav uncle, to be honest he took it quite well, so maybe soon I hope we will talk to my mum about it, then we will see what happens from there, ill keep you guys updated.

This is great news, I wish you the best of luck with coming out to your mother as well. I'm coming out to my own over the next few weeks and I'm a little anxious, but to be honest everyone I've come out to so far (5 people) have been really really great about it. It's been suprising. I hope you have the same experience!
