I don't have many great pictures, but I have one from impossible astronaut day (any Doctor Who folks out there?) and I got a pretty good side profile. Do I pass at all? How or should I get my hair lopped off?

hi Luke, welcome to Susan's Place.

It's hard to tell from the pictures since it's a little dark and in the top you're looking down. I'd say you have potential to pass, though as someone young. I like your hair the way it is, lots of guys have hair the same way. Cutting your hair doesn't always help in making you pass better. I like the glasses too, they fit.

I'd agree with that, when I was younger with a shaggy skater or even shoulder length hair I'd get comments from older men that they used to wear their hair the same way when they were my age.

Just dropping these in here. It's approaching 6 months since I came out as trans.

By the way, some days I am flat and other days I'm not. I don't understand why this is. Does anyone have any ideas?

the first pic you def pass in to me, I think it depends on the shirt for the flat thing, I know I have some shirts i wear and I look completely flat but then others you tell I have a little something there, I notice darker shirts look flatter, far as glasses go get squared off ones, looks more masculine to me than rounded ones, I usually just wear contacts lol

This is a bad picture of me but here you go...

You totally pass and have nothing to worry about, but if you're not a fan of the glasses, go for something else. Got to find your own style; not just the style that will make you pass the most, but the one that suits your personality as well.

Well hi Christopher, there you are my friend! My eldest son's name is Christopher too! I like your glasses, they're fine because they are rimless and frankly rimless glasses are the best because they are unisex and don't make a loud statement like "Ok look, I'm wearing glasses" like Superman in his horn rimmed glasses once did.

Nope. Just watched one of your videos. Still very manly. You can't avoid it. You pass very well.

But you only feel that way because you've lived with yourself all of your life, so you judge yourself harsher than some stranger like me would.

So, I did get a haircut. It's probably not what I'll stick with but it's ok?



And I know it's probably lame but I'm sort of pleased with my arms. I just took my third t shot today, so hopefully they will end up looking more defined but at least I have muscle mass in my arms. Or am I lying to myself?
