Well I guess It's pretty obvious anymore. I'm MtF ^~^ However I have some questions that I just don't know the answers to. While I don't plan on ever doing SRS, I don't really have the right to say so right now, as things change I guess. Anyway. I have far more important things I need some help on. But in order for it to make sense, and to get relevant answers and help, I need to give some medical information.
I have Panhypopituitarism. I have to take adrenaline hormones, thyriod hormones, formerly growth hormones, and...~gulp~ Testosterone. I'm now refusing that one because I don't want to get a deep voice and become more hairy. (I feel dirty when I'm hairy, and I shave already, why would I want more to shave off?) I'm not sure how my endocrinologist will take it, but my mom's not happy about it. (I'm 26, living with parents due to said medical issues. There are reasons I can't live alone but it'd take forever to explain it all, and it's not really relevant.) Strike that... it is relevant. If I over-stress I can go into an adrenal crisis and die.
I'm worried about how HRT might work for someone like me if that time comes. I would like to go that route in the future but...How will MtF HRT work for someone already on HRT for thyroid and adrenaline replacements? (In this case prednisone) I guess I may not need A-Blockers because I don't make nearly enough T on my own. But still. Do you think they would ever let someone in my situation do that?
Anyone out there hae expirience with HRT while already having hormonal issues?
