hi, ermm, i have a bit of a problem. i registered today, logged in via the email verification email, and im confoosed. i have made 2 replies to existing posts and under my name it says 'visitor'. eh? i cant be a visitor because i registered.

apart from a signature, there is no where for me to add any information about myself and i am not able to upload a profile picture either.

if i try to view others profiles, or summat else i tried to look at, i get this message
'An Error Has Occurred!
You are not allowed to access this section'.

eh? but surely if i registered then i should be able to view things. or is it a bug/problem somewhere in the cogs?
i am running firefox v28 on xp pro sp3.

this is a real head scratcher for me, this looks like a good place to be in, but if these issues cant be resolved, there seems little point in keeping a profile here and will have to offsky.

any help here will be gratefully appreciated,

Look up the rules, I believe it takes 15 posts to remove all limitations. It's a safety on place to discourage trolls and adverts. A mod will be a long soon to provide links, I am sure.

read the rules? oh dear lord, whoever reads the rules or the small print eh?(i never do )
least i know now that i cannot drive on the motorway until i pass my test  .
in the verification whatsit below, as i am typing this, it says 'are you human?' i had the same question on a reply i posted elsewhere and i answered 'that is open to debate', oops, the system didnt like that reply. oh well 
if i am on a trial period, then fair do's, i'll hang around and bide my time.

im not too worried about the verification hoops to jump through, in this day and age, the spoilsports are getting cleverer by the day, all this verification malarky is just a way of life now.

did eyeball the rules regarding profanity, and sarcasm too though, thats me more stuffed than an xmas turkey  ,
small price to pay though, it seems good here and an old stomping pal mentioned this place yonks ago.
