Everybody talks about the face changes, and voice changes and muscles and so on, but what about your hands? Are your hands different, once you've been on T for a while?

my hands seem the same to me so far lol but i am also fairly early on T

Interest. Question. I've always liked my hands. But my mom always remarks on how dainty they are

I have very small hands, which I have been very conscious about. Biggest change is the thumb muscle getting bigger, as well as the palm, making my hands look wider. Fingers are not thicker, but the knuckles slightly more defined. Wrists grew thicker, although not by much. My veins have definitely popped up more, probably from fat redistribution (overall less body fat). My fists look larger in general. Also, callouses stay on the palms for longer now.
I am a little over two months on T, hope this helps.

I've heard guys remark about this. Some it happens to others not so much. It's more of a cartilage/muscle gain than anything pertaining to bone growth. I've heard feet and hands can get larger but it doesn't seem to be as a mainstream side effect that hits everyone.

No. My hands haven't changed. My feet have gotten bigger, but not my hands. I still have my piano finger hands, and all bony and crap.

Being MTF I am going the other way. My hands appear to be much smoother now with less prominent veins.  I would expect for you guys it would work the other way round and veins and sinews would become more obvious

In that context, yes, my skin is thicker, and I'm more vascular. Other than that, no.

It's just, I'm a little self-conscious about my hands. I don't mind that they are small, but they're... poofy? Like, I've had people think my hands were swollen and it was just, how they usually are. Here look, like this:

(My feet are also tiny, I'm like a mens size 5 or 6, depending if I want to wear fluffy socks)

I used to have EXTREMELY bony fingers but they seem to have filled out in the tiniest bit. Not much though. I didn't even realize til now.

My feet only grew because I was still growing when I started T last year, at the end of October. Mine are a mens 9, sometimes 10, but in Australian sizing because I'm Australian, don't know what that makes them in US sizing. And you're hands look fine to me. But I can understand self-consciousness, mine are really lanky and bony, with super long fingers, and people always pick on me for it.

If it helps any I wear a size 9 to 10.5 in mens sometimes 11 (US sizes) and my hands are stupid small and my fingers are short and semi pudgy :I It's like playing the Sims with the slider bars or something. Let's give him big feet for a 5'3" height but that's not all! Let's make his hands stupid small too on top of it  >:(
Gentlemen, meet my hand:
I'm crossing my pudgy fingers I get lucky and my hands grow a bit.

I'm jealous! The base of my fingers are too poofy to be able to wear rings  >.<

(Also- just now realizing, that I'm so pale that I probably glow in the dark)

wheat thins are delicious

Yes, they're thinner, more muscular and veiny, and more hairy.

I just recently had to get a new wedding ring cause my fingers have swelled up like lil sausages >< So annoying. Also you'll have to excuse the lighting. I have a lamp right next to my keyboard with a yellowish shade on it. Believe me, I step out in the sun and probably blind people because I'm so white LOL

My hands and feet started to grow around the 3/4 month mark on T, but not in length. They got wider though. I fit size 7 with how wide they are, but lengthwise they're more like a 5. At 2.5 years of T I can definitely vouch for the veins being more prominent. It used to take forever for nurses to find a vein, but now it's super easy (although not as good when you nic a vein doing injections, haha)
I also grew a 1/4inch (which at 5'2 really helps  :P)

An interesting note, most often your ring size will match or be within a half size of your shoe size. (In American sizing)

That just confirms the fact I'm weirdly proportioned! LOL I wear a size 7.5 ring and my feet are literally 3 sizes bigger

makes vains more visible, depending who you are thats it i think.

I have disproportionately-small hands (even for a "girl" they were too small for my body), and when I look at other people I find hands particularly attractive so I've always been aware of mine.

On T, I initially had some squishy puffiness that seemed to go away after a few months. Other than that, I've mainly seen differences in vein prominence and hairiness. I love the hair on my hands. I have gone up in ring size, but I'm not sure how much because I don't regularly try on rings. Rings that used to fit my thumb or index finger now only fit my ring finger, and rings that used to fit my pinky of course don't fit anything now.
