the psychiatrist that gave me the prescription said due to my small chest size (barely fill out an a cup) and the fact that I am only 17 and haven't finished puberty (im on tanner stage 3) the hormones might actually make my breasts go away. if not il only need very minimal surgery. im skeptical yet i have lost 1 out of the two inches difference between my rib measurement and my chest. does anyone have experience with this? if so, will it take long? is it possible for them to shrink out of existence 100%? will building my pec muscles help?

You probably won't lose it all but enough to not really look like breasts anymore.

do you think i could lose enough to swim shirtless or without a binder or sports bra under my shirt?

You'd be surprised the size of man-boobs on most cis-guys anyway.
Most of my guy friends have some level of 'flab' there, and those that don't tend to spend
unnecessarily large amounts of time at the gym (not that they're more fit...they just bulk)

with any luck you'll probably end up in the range of normal guys anyway with boobs of that size
p.s. at that point no one cares what a guys chest looks like

there's a large lad in my office, his moobs are as big as my breasts and I've been on hormones for over 3 years to get what little I have, I'm not being my usual normal irreverent self, it's literally true, so I think you're probably going to be fine Alex, though as guys tend towards a wide chest anyway doing a few rounds on the weights to build up your upper body muscles could be of help to you

I had serious moobs when I was at 285 pounds.  They were about a 'B' cup, about the same size as they are now.  I lost all the excess weight and I was flat as a pancake when I was done.  Now I have breasts.  BIG difference.  Before I could twist the nipples 270 degrees and nothing.  Now I'd scream bloody murder.  I also clearly have some ducts and glands back there now that won't be going away.
