Just took a whole bunch of old boy stuff I havent worn in years and a bunch of things you wouldnt  catch me wearing on a dare to the local thrift store donation station today. Still have coats and winter things to round up and donate next time I go there.

Sure feels good to get those out of the house and to make room for more everyday and pretty girl clothes :)

Hi Hun,

Yes, it feels so good, I threw everything away a few weeks ago, it all goes to Africa etc. Now when I open my draws or wardrobes all I see are my clothes and shoes. Weird maybe but before that it felt like I was sharing my flat with someone else that I couldn't see, and didn't want there!!

Love Jayne

I have nothing to say I haven't said before, I have bled all I can and won't bleed no more, I don't need no one to understand!

Yeah girl...!  Two days ago an old boyfriend came round - we're the same size, and I gave him 6 or 8 coats and jackets.  He looks really good in them!  Space finally for some pretty clothes!

I went to a church that had donation boxes, I unloaded 9 trash bags worth of old boy clothes.

My wife at first felt like "damn... what a waste, you bought these (holds up a pair of jeans) last xmas!!" but quickly realized that at the rate i had been losing weight, it wouldn't have fit me even if I wasn't transitioning (I use to be 38-40 in jeans and an XL or XXL in Men's shirts, now I would be a 30-32 in jeans and an M or S in mens shirts, and currently a size 10 in women's jeans, 12 in dresses and L in tops) so in reality it wasn't really a waste because i couldnt even wear that stuff anymore lol

Though... last night i was realizing that i need to expand my wardrobe >_< I needs more lacey, black, gothy dresses and boots >_______<

In that big box of clothes were also some brand new shirts that my mother had sent me over the years for birthdays and Christmas, she must think I'm still 18 or so because she sends things that are way to small or some weird style that's totally not me. It's the thought that counts of course and my parents are getting old. Still felt a bit guilty donating them but at least it's for a good local cause. :)

i´m honest but for me, it was quite a really emotional progress to give my boy clothes away. it felt like a final decision so i celebrated it also a bit. i gave a lot clothes to my best friend, it was so funny - all were fitting perfectly on him and i´m totally happy that he can wear it further.

But still i have a few things here from boy-mode. there are "special-things" like for ex. presents from my parents or things i´ve a lot memories with. i really like it to confront myself strongly with my transition - and it´s resulting in a really strong conviction that this is the right way for me ...

I donated all of my male clothes after I went full time but kept a pair of tan dress pants and button down shirt in case I ever needed them. I know at this point I'll never put them on but can't bring myself to finally be rid of those last pieces of mens clothing.

Yeaaaaaaaah...I set fire to my old male wardrobe xD (see: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,164433.0.html )

I probably should have sent them to a charity somewhere, or done something else kind and generous with them...but it meant to much to me, to be able to literally burn the old remnants of my life. I'm pretty hardcore on phoenix imagery when discussing my transition, and all my male clothes were pretty much threadbare wrecks anyway, since I hated buying new guy clothes I would wear them into the ground. so I don't think anybody would have gotten much wear out of them anyway ^^;

I did keep a couple of extremely sentimental items...like a hat that I wore for my entire time at university, and some custom made converse all stars that my wife bought me...

But for the most part, it's all ash now...

It's weird - I'm not sad to see the boy clothes go, but I am replacing a lot of beautiful male clothes with a very simple and functional bunch of women's clothing.  The girl is going to take some time to become as elegant as her imposter was.  But I will get there!

I went through my closet today and gathered the remaining boy stuff. I'm keeping a pair of paints and a pair of boots for an emergency , but every thing else is history. It's all been replaced
