Forgive me for a wildly self-centered and purely celebratory post, but I finally had my appointment with the endo yesterday, and gave myself my first shot of T this afternoon.  Needless to say, I'm pretty happy.   

(That's all I feel, so far, just happy.  I'll take it!) 

Just wanted to say that all the info and encouragement and sharing of stories I've read here have made the journey to this point (this still very much beginning point, but a big milestone, nonetheless) much easier than it might otherwise have been.

It's like having a second, real birthday, as Myself.

I'm gonna go hug my cat.  She watched me get my shot, and was very cool about the whole thing.  She's been one of my biggest supporters.

I've been really lucky, J.T., I didn't have to wait that long at all.  I brought up the issue in therapy in May, got my letter in July, and then just had to wait for the endo appointment.

Good for you.  I have to wait until November for my endo appointment but not far....that is great.
