Let me bring you up to speed. I lost my house in the springtime. I was homeless for a while before breaking my wrist, which landed me back at my parents' house. My stepdad's a transphobic ass. But I'm really close with my mom. Always have been.

She's been slow to adjust to me being a girl. Today she and I went to the grocery store. I was wearing a dress with matching makeup. I came downstairs, and my mom told me I looked pretty! Aaah! And then she pointed out how I lit up when she said that.

I love my mom.  :)

My parents are fundamentalist christian ex-missionaries, I am not expecting a lot of acceptance, so it is nice to see someone getting some.

That's really cool. My parents and most family is rather religious and probably won't be ever calling me that for a long time if not at all. But glad you got called pretty :)
