Is silicon injection for hips augmentation dangerous?

I'm trying to find a decent clinic who does silicon injections into hips cos mine is so flat with no curves whatsoever but can't find any. My transsexual friends here specially those from Brazil do it but with random people with no license to practice that officially. I'm scared. But so many of them are doing it and their body is so beautiful and curvy with big butts and perfect curves. They tell me they haven't had any problems or secondary effect and I'm being so tempted. Anyone else did here? Is this even a safe thing? I know it's dangerous to inject in breast but in hips I still don't get it what are the potential danger and hasards. Anyone?

One specific hazard involved with silicone injections from random sources is that the material injected may be contaminated and set off horrific infections.  The other obvious hazard from any silicone injection is that there is nothing to contain the material in the body and it may move around.  These are enough to scare me away from any sort of silicone injection.

My suggestion is to ask these people what the areas they had augmented look like ten years later.  My gut says what you see will not be pretty.  I personally would avoid silicone injections like the plague.

Silicone injections done by random people are a HUGE health hazard and risk. I would absolutely stay clear of that.

I don't personally recommend that at all but if you feel like you must do something, please work with a reputable and licensed cosmetic surgeon who has experience in that area. There are some. You can find them by searching the internet. And they won't use silicon injections but will do something similar to breast augmentation, using silicon or saline filled forms. The problem I see is that either of those types are subject to breakage even in the breast area. I would think the risk of breakage is even higher on the hips.

I haven't researched these procedures as much as I have some others, but I believe liposculpture and fat transfer can be used to get a similar effect to silicon injections, without any of the risk. The downsides would be the expense, and that you may need to put on weight before the procedure so you have enough fat to transfer (if you can even call that a downside ;)).

Injected silicone is bad for your health and as somebody said it here... In ten years or even less it will look horrible and shift and stuff... and you'll get stretch marks because your skin stretching too much... Just eat more, and if you are really persistent get it done here in the U.S. and don't go somewhere it's too cheap because it's prolly a scam and it will damage you. There are plenty of stories on the internet of stuff going bad so don't do it.

Injectable silicone is only desirable for those wishing a lifetime of pain and disfigurement.

The big problem is that there is poor control over where it goes - and removal is next to impossible if there is a problem.

The only variable is how long it takes for a problem to occur and how bad it is...

Although I don't know. My attitude is if it can leak into your body , it is a very dangerous for you. It can cause you severe pain and can also deform you. There can be some very bad people out there.
A girl had FFS but they gave her concrete and other junk as a result she is in extreme pain and is deformed the rest of her life. Also if the silicon moves you can have very weird looking hips.

Better to take hormones and develop your hips that way.

You might want to search more on the subject of hip implants, similar to breast implant and much safer then injected silicone which is poisonous to the body

Before making a decision please please go on google image and search: injected silicone

Then look at ALL the pictures very closely...

Read a few stories from people who have (if lucky) died from contaminated injections. The unlucky ones get a systemic infection and lose limbs, noses, and ears.

From what I have read online the injections are VERY dangerous. They can lead to pain, necrotic tissue, bacterial infections and a bunch of other nasty stuff. If anything I would suggest that you look into cosmetic hip/butt implants. They are safer and will last longer. The only downside I have heard of with the implants is the hard silicone panel shifting (which is rare because the surgeon molds and cuts each one for each person) and the harder silicone making sitting uncomfortable until you and your body get used to it. It is more costly than injections are even done in a professional setting but will be better in the long run.

MRSA, shmrsa.  Shoot me up in the butt with that caulking gun, Jessica.  Maybe some in the lips too so I can have me a trout pout.

OMG, don't even think about it.  The odds of it ending well are zero.
