Haha, I know that's right!  Thanks!  I heard the dime drop actually, and the boy didn't even bother to pick it up, so I quickly swooped it up.  How horrible to know you drop money and not even bother to pick it up, but hey, that's good for me!

I went into the city on Monday for some business which was to register my name change and I got confirmation in the mail today(two days that is quick) as I received my new name change certificate and a copy of my birth certificate with a notation of the name change at the bottom. So it is official, I am now legally Charlotte Ashlee-Rose plus surname, which I have blurred out but if you have me on facebook you will see it there. That is one milestone(big step) done.

A friend of mine on Instagram sent me some original design shirts, and other neat stuff, just because she wanted to do something nice.

I've just had my latest performance appraisal with my boss.

He was very complimentary about the positive changes that my transition has made to me personally and professionally. He said that when I first announced to him that I would be transitioning he was unsure what impact this would have on the business, how much I would change, and how my colleagues would respond. But now that I've been transitioning for two years he said that from his perspective and the perspective of the business my transition has been a very positive move. He said I've become an even bigger asset to the business than ever before, and that from his perspective my transition has made me more focussed on the business and it's long-term goals than ever before.

With that in mind, he's agreed to mentor me with a view to appointing me to the Board within the next few years.

This is awesome news... and goodness knows I could've done with some good news after this week's tragedy, which has hit me really hard.

Dang, that is fast. I'm 1 week into the 3 week waiting for the hearing. Yeah, I still have to go to court for it.
Fortunately I won't for legal gender. Should just need a doctor's note and wait an absurd amount of time.

I spent last night with my bf and I'm spending tonight with him too. We've both been very open about what we want now, where we are in our lives, and what we hope for in the future. He is supportive of any physical changes I want to make in my transition and is steadfast is referring to me as his boyfriend and a guy.
On the flip side, I feel kinda silly gushing about my boyfriend.

Hey Laura,

I'm doing OK.  Now it just feels like I got kicked square in the nuts YESTERDAY.   So far I just feel really mellow, but that's probably more the vicodin talking than the lack of T.   I saw doc again today and I got the thumbs up, so all is well.  My appetite is back and other than the groin aching, I'm pretty much back to my usual snarky self.

I don't think I'm going to miss them one bit.   Doc says he's glad I didn't try to use it as a pinata though.  Those kids would have been very disappointed.

I am going to order a t-shirt that says, "If I had balls, they'd be bigger than yours."

with a picture of giant Jill made meatballs?  I thought you had a meatball recipe somewhere earlier.

You got Vicodins? All I got were some lousy Hydrocodones that didn't really help. I just bought a few bags of generic frozen peas and used them to chill things out. I took it real easy for awhile, though, just to be on the safe side.

Nice idea on the shirt.

Um, yea, I hate to tell you this Laura, but Vicodin is Hydrocodone + a given amount of Acetaminophin(Tylonol). The Hydrocodone is the small number, and the Acetaminophin is the large number. {I apologize for spelling}
