I don't know how many of you have seen this.  But if you need a bit of a lift, you might have a look at it.

Bless this woman!  I wish the world was full of people like her.

That is indeed awesome,  she is a fantastic mother.

What a fantastic speech. I wish more people had the same thoughts about transitioning. Enough of all the bigotry!

Wow, it's really interesting and amazing how some people know from a young age. It's disgusting how people teach their children to be ignorant and have no tolerance of anything different. I hate when people blame the parents too or come up with some stupid idea to go against certain things like the stuff she was pointing out. It's great that her parents are accepting of it, it's so much easier when you have support of others than to have none and have to hide it. Great speech and thanks for sharing. :)

So wonderful, I cried along with her at the end :'(

Yes, she is quite fantastic. It's too bad that even when parents are as loving as this, some of today's kids choose to take the wrong path and make their parent's lives absolutely miserable, and of course I don't mean by being transgender.
If you torture the truth long enough, it'll confess to anything.

Yeah, I have to admit that some tears came to my eyes, too.  It's funny how lately I've just wanted to break down crying at times--because of the sense of relief that I feel.  After so many years of having been in the closet, to come out and to be myself is a huge weight off my shoulders.  As I say, sometimes it makes me want to cry.  And then I tell myself, "You're such a girl!  Why don't you go put on a skirt!"  And then I say, "OK!"

What a wonderful Mom and parent. It took awesome courage for her to stand up for her child. I think all parents could learn something from this.

Thanks for posting!

When I saw that I cried. It's a beautiful statement from a mother who wants her daughter to be happy and accepted.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful speech. I cried with her at the end. She is great and her daughter is lucky to have a mother like her.
