I always feel like I smell bad at work, but no one ever complains. But would they say something to my face? Probably not. I changed my deodorant to dove for men, and now I feel more confident in the way I smell. My deodorant before would fail halfway through the day.

Body hair is one of the worst scent holders that I think I have ever experienced especially underarms, crotch and buttcrack.

Use a good strong solid deoderant in those places and really over apply it and you shouldn't have the funky smell problem. No gels, or colored deoderants but just solid white.. Powder with cornstarch also helps, talc not so much.

I'm pre-everything and sometimes I get the Man Smell.  It's just a musky, sweaty odour.  At least that's what my Gays tell me.  My mum used to say I smelled like sour sweat and onions.  My loving Gays trump my mother any day of the week.  Then again, in this house, a pair of queens always beats a straight!  *ba dum ching!*

Anyone ever use some sort of body spray along with regular underarm deodorant?  Or do you get by with a quick spritz of Old Spice?
Ah, this made me laugh.
I do the Sport Old Spice and the body spray. (I have to do the sport because I have a horrible reaction to literally everything else, including women's deodorants. It sucks.) I have a couple different body sprays, and I do a layer on my binder and then on my shirt. No one has complained about me smelling so far.
I'd recommend doing one of the spray deodorants on top of applying a powder based one (if you can) more than once a day, if you need to. If nothing else, a light layer of aerosol goodness can help mask other odors.
The more I know, the more I know I don't know.

That's what I have been doing. I carry powder deodorant with me as well as spray deodorant and just apply more when I feel I need to "freshen up" lol. I actually bought some small desk fans and planted them in my workplace today - I have several workplaces so I'll just keep dropping fans off until they all have one. That will help I imagine.

Ah yes man scent! This may be unpopular, but I do like humans to smell like humans, as opposed to a bunch of manmade chemicals...

BUT yeah downright stinkiness is not so great. Honestly once I quit eating meat, drinking, and kicking off my shoes more often (stinky feet happen when shoved into shoes) I began to smell heaps better ;)

**Edit to add: I live in the Florida Panhandle, where it's humid as F*** and bicycle everywhere. So yeah...sweaty...

I don't eat meat and I do drink and wear shoes, but I've lived in various configurations of the three and can confirm that eating animals or drinking alcohol can complicate a person's scent pretty fast, and that feet are pretty neutral if you keep them unshod. The shoe thing is a completely different kind of smell though, in my opinion. I don't want anyone to be exposed to the ill effects of my diet, but my feet stink to high heaven mostly when I remove my boots, and I can't imagine how that could ever matter.

Hmm, that is interesting. I rarely drink but I eat tons of meat lol. I wonder if it contributes.

Diet definitely contributes to a person's smell. I notice if I eat too much of certain foods I actually start smelling those foods in my sweat. It's weird.

Another thing to try in regards to feet stank, this'll sound bonkers to some, but wool or wool blend socks. Yes, even if it's hot, if you can stand it. In order of odor from least to worst, in my experience, wool > cotton > synthetics. Bonus, wool can absorb more moisture without feeling wet, so you avoid that sweaty sock feeling.
