Before starting on HRT I weighed between 190-195 lbs. After about five months of HRT I'm at 215. I actually haven't been exercising as much as I have been before starting HRT and really want to get back into some decent shape. I've also noticed the weight that I have been gaining is all going to either my stomach or my breasts. I was hopping for some gain around the hip/thigh area, but it isn't happening. Anyone else ever experience this?

Weight gain around the waist does tend to happen to a number of people. Same happened to me first time but not this time. Last time I was on Androcur, this time on Spiro. My endo this time said to me that the Androcur was to blame, but I've heard some people on this forum say it didn't make a difference for them, so maybe it's a case of your milage may vary.

sounds like your body type is 'apple' rather than 'pear' shaped.  Welcome to the club :)

Well, I know I look like I got a baby bump :P too bad it will never be a real baby bump.

For me, fat redistribution doesn't seem to be happening at the pace everything else is on HRT.
15 years on Susans, where has all the time gone?

5 months on hrt is not long...

My figure was only really noticeable nearer one year hrt, also genetics plays a role here... the woman in my family has real pear  shape figures, as my mother calls it.. child bearing hips.. and I inherited this
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

No! I don't want to be an apple. I want to have an hourglass! ☺️ Actually I'll take an apple if I get clocked as a female.

I am noticing this is taking time as well. I am at nine months.

Also, all I want to do is eat any more on HRT... sigh.

So, I am sure I can reverse things, but I love the curves and bumps. Slow as they are to come.

Finally though, it seems my fat is migrating away from my belly a bit.
