Hi,
I'll be in Silver Spring MD from Sept 15 - 25th.  It is for work, but I have FRI/SAT/SUN/MON off.

Anyone from NYC to Southern VA want to get together while I'm there?  The people here have saved my life more than once, and I would love to be able to thank you in person.  I am truly grateful for your insight and wisdom.

Shucks, I'm not willing to drive quite that far.  Atlanta is beautiful though.  Are you going to Southern Comfort?

Never heard of it.  It is a bit of a drive a little more than I am willing to make just for a lunch.

Southern Comfort is a big trans gathering.

I can't visit, but I would if I was still out there.

I think it is actually the largest structured trans conference in the country.

I am in Atlanta too.  So now you have two invites if you are ever this way.  I've lived here about 25 years and never attended the Southern Comfort conference only cause I worked across the road and at the time I knew everyone at the Ravinia where its held... and I'd hate for people to know that way. Nowadays, and since I've gotten older, I really don't give two hoots who knows what.  I'm even filing my insurance claims and they almost always state "gender and code do not match"..  makes me laugh. So far they've paid but only one got denied and its not even sex specific related.. go figure!

Man this is getting hard. Hmm I may have to take a few extra days.  I've got to run up to Woods Hole, so I'll be in MA,  but might just come down to Atlanta and from there to Miami on my own time.  You guys really want to meet me?

I'll try to work out an itinerary and be in touch.  I have mentioned it before but I love just hanging out with folks in the trans community.  You are, as a group, an amazing bunch.
