Hey all,

So today is the day. I have officially started HRT. Just took my first Spiro and Estradiol pills. I'm happy to have finally started.

I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

I should add that hopefully soon you will have itchy, sore nipples and won't be able to sleep on your front - a nice, if not painful, confirmation of your approaching womanhood! ;D

I'm looking forward to it. ^_^v At half dose atm for a week. Then up to full prescribed dose in a few days.

In additional news, I'm buying my first house! ^_^v

Congratulations.  You're a little ahead of me in the race.  I start this week if all goes well at the Doctors (eyes, fingers and toes crossed).  I can say since I came out in January and decided to transition, it has been the most wonderful experience so far.  Best wishes!
