And yeah, growing beard hair for electrolysis is bad. What's worse is that you shouldn't shave the treated area for at least two to three days afterwards if you want to avoid possible scarring and infections.

Cleanse with Witch Hazel and skim coat with Neosporin.;don't touch at all. There will be some zits..don't touch let it heal. I do full clearings every time and hard on one's face. Clean it but don't touch..you get the point.

Two to three days after? She told me I could shave the next day. 

The redness and irritation was gone before I went to bed, no sign of it at all the next day (today), so I shaved.

Well its always uncomfortable at the beginning I guess, but congratulations on taking a step forward! Personally I was thinking about electrolisis but I decided not no because its too expensive for me at the moment and it takes so much time. I decided to go with IPL and I'm seeing great results so that's awesome, I do plan to get electrolisis in the future but only if for some reason the hair starts growing again.

When you get longer appt it is more harsh. Proud of you to start..dont be distracted from ppl that say this or that works. Electro works and you are going to a great provider..the feeling of licking above your lip and not feeling anything is like...nirvana.
