After a very manic week at work after fixing many issues and answering client questions I drop by and see my team from Manila who I spent 4 weeks training up in Manila and now a further 4 weeks here in Sydney.
They are tired and homesick just like I was so I can easily relate to how they feel.
I asked them how they were going, a few looked stressed and tired like myself so I chatted with them to see if I could help them.
In talking they mentioned how little the team in Sydney actually knows which is a little surprising. As the SME I made the effort to absorb as much information as possible. Always a good thing. They again mentioned what a great job I did with them in Manila and now they fully appreciate the effort and time I took with each of them. It was long hours and difficult but in the end it was fun.
It's so nice to feel appreciated for caring about what I do. Doesn't happen often.
Bought them some chocolates which were demolished. They have asked for ice cream cake next week. How could I not?
I have been told the US and UK are also interested in training on attribution reporting so New York and London perhaps here I come?
I will probably be sent to Mumbai instead
