People gave me gifts everywhere I went today. The comic shop guy had blueberries from his yard, the corner store guy had a bunch of tomatoes and oregano and hot peppers, and my therapist was graduating to some other position so she gave me a journal and pen. She gave me a card, too, but I'm awkward about goodbyes so I haven't opened it yet.

I didn't even know what oregano looked like outside of a jar until today. ;D

I called customer service at Cablevision for a clients issue with their cable modem and I was ma'amed on the phone the whole time :)

For some reason I'd had a hard time with phones, but now this seems to have resolved itself :)

After a very manic week at work after fixing many issues and answering client questions I drop by and see my team from Manila who I spent 4 weeks training up in Manila and now a further 4 weeks here in Sydney.
They are tired and homesick just like I was so I can easily relate to how they feel.
I asked them how they were going, a few looked stressed and tired like myself so I chatted with them to see if I could help them.
In talking they mentioned how little the team in Sydney actually knows which is a little surprising. As the SME I made the effort to absorb as much information as possible. Always a good thing. They again mentioned what a great job I did with them in Manila and now they fully appreciate the effort and time I took with each of them. It was long hours and difficult but in the end it was fun.

It's so nice to feel appreciated for caring about what I do. Doesn't happen often.
Bought them some chocolates which were demolished. They have asked for ice cream cake next week. How could I not?

I have been told the US and UK are also interested in training on attribution reporting so New York and London perhaps here I come?
I will probably be sent to Mumbai instead :-\

So long and thanks for all the fish

Mumbai and I do not agree.  5 visits = 5 stomach ailments = 5 uncomfortable flights and medical treatment ...  So hope you get NY or London

Anyway - great Thai meal, this evening.  Steamed Snapper to die for.  If you get into town, Thainesia translated, has to mean food heaven!

Steamed Snapper^^___^^ Yum Yum! :icon_rockon:

On another note: My job called recently and said the only reason he didn't show up today was the rain, and stated he'd be in tomorrow. This is good news for I thought this rain cost me this job I really need right now earlier.

I made a visit to Facial Team today and I am really happy because probably I'll have my FFS done quite soon! ^^

Also, last week I was correctly gendered on two occasions and I wasn't even trying to pass! =D

My neighbors brought me some ice cream as a surprise, though they ended up keeping it after I told them I'd already gotten that same kind, even so this made me very happy, and I was really surprised too. :)

Shaved my legs and mmmm I love the feel. It took two hours to hack through that forest and I've gotta keep up on it. I did find good shaving cream and I bought what appeared to be very good women 'a razors but they're crap. Sometimes men's products are better even for feminization.

I got to chat with my Brother via facebook today. I haven't seen him except in photos and video in 14 years. He and Dad don't get along though.

I think I need to get my eyes checked lol I thought you said boyfriend when you actually said brother. Now it makes sense, was wondering how you has a BF but haven't seen him except through those means in 14 years. Glad you got to chat with him, even if it was through the evil that is FB. lol You two should plan a get together, if not at your house then somewhere public like, a fast food joint maybe. :)

Still no work due to rain but amidst the bad that happened earlier today, a few things did happen of a personal nature that did brighten my spirits up a bit. I got to converse with a couple of good friends and also my niece via Facebook. She and I exchanged phone numbers and she's very supportive and happy for me. So despite the bad a few good things happened today to balance things out.

Just came back from McDonald's.

Nothing to eat at home...decided to go there and ask for some junky food =P

Decided to buy on the Drive trough...the first guy asks me "anything else, ma'am?" =) ...I answer, "no thank you"....then "ok, next cabin, ma'am" =)

Ok, so let's pay... wow, I was correctly gendered again!

Then the next attendant: "Money or credit card, lady?" =D "Credit card"..."ok, ma'am" =D =D Again??

Wow...

I think that indeed this means...male fail at last =D

What made me happy today was when my lunatic neighbors finally wound down their party at about 6:30am. I'm totally supportive of young people enjoying their youth, but the revolving door of random drunk hipsters is annoying to live next to.

My wife and I went to a friends party last night and less than half knew me before I transitioned. Never was mis gendered or anything. The topic of transgender came up and I outed myself on purpose and those that didn't know told me they had no clue.

The second thing that happened that night was the husband (they just married in April) who I had only met a year ago when I still presented male told me that I looked better and more natural as a woman than I did as a man. (He did have a few drinks in him.) He then said: "Wow your boobs are getting bigger!!" He then asked if he could feel them than said that maybe he shouldn't have ask. Then he asked if he could touch them anyway. (His wife whom I've known for 16 years was a little shocked that he would ask that.) He then said, that he wasn't coming on to me, but was just curious. I said that it was up to my wife and his wife but I didn't mind. They both were OK and he felt them and says "Wow, B Cup!!". It was a little weird, but in a way validating as a woman to be sexualized like that, LOL.
