thanks for your opinions, guys...what kind of hairstyle would you recommend for me to pass better? I don't want to cut it too short because I am aiming for dreads in the next year...but its kind of just hair right now. I just mess it up in the mornings.

Kreuzfidel, what about the hair in the first one looks feminine? Do you have any hair styles you would recommend?

I only ever did this, dreads and mohawks/liberty spikes so I am clueless as far as hairstyle.

ElioAyla, I would also say no pass on the first pic, yes pass on the second.  The hair bangs look good in the front.  I think it is the thickness/poofiness of the hair on the sides and length in the back that make it more feminine.  I've seen cis guys with hair over their eyes like yours, but that masculine haircut is typically paired with short buzzed hair in the back to keep it looking manly.  Overall though, lookin' good!

Maybe shorten the back a bit.  I tried holding my fingertips over different parts of your hair in the pic to see what would work a bit better, and that's just my opinion, mate.  I think dreads would certainly look good on you.

Lately I have been asked if I have started T by some friends, sadly I have not, but they always add after that there is something about me that has become more masculine. And, for some reason, I keep on getting hit on by gay guys and lesbians... So, I have no idea what I should take that as. It leaves me confused... So, I thought I would ask you guys.

Well, and then I was messing around with a wig since I might be using it for Halloween to get the look I want to go for, but I worry it might make me look more feminine

And well, last but not least, I tried the mascara trick I have seen some of you guys do.

And yes! Finally managed to afford new glasses xD
I apologize for all of the pictures... Shii... Didn't think that I had so many.

I usually never wear tank tops but it was stupid hot when i took these pictures. my hair is a little shorter now tho but it basically looks the same. so yeah sometimes i pass but mostly I don't, it's probably like my face or cos i'm short i think but yeah do you guys have any advice?

also like does my body pass? cos my sister said these jeans make me look taller but they're also skinny jeans and even though theyre guys jeans i worry it like makes me look more feminine

Are you serious? You look like a guy. Wouldn't have even thought anything otherwise.

Oh and those skinny jeans look good on you mate.

Dalex, I think you pass in most of those, your glasses are a lot like mine but maybe a littel bit more square (nice!) I hope the word cute doesn't offend you, cuz you look like a cute guy.   :icon_mrgreen: And the mascara trick looks boss too, I'm gonna have to try it. I wonder if it works in person or only in pics?

Christopher, I think you pass, but you look really far away on that mountain top, I cant see you! I dont think I ever pass in shorts, I wear long socks to cover my hairless legs (ruined the hair growth with Depo as a teen) but I still think you pull it pretty well.

So I got a hair cut today and suddenly I was passing all over the place. Maybe it had gotten too long, maybe it was too poofy. Maybe it was the shirt. I don't know. I just try not to talk in public so I don't ruin the gendering...I have a silly high pitched voice.  :-X   So do I pass?

I'd say for the majority of everyone with glasses wondering if they pass, the bigger your glasses the more feminine you look. even if the frames are mens they make your head and face look smaller and more petite. so i think if you're going to wear glasses maybe opt for a narrower frame to make your jaw and lower face look bigger than it would otherwise.

just my thoughts.
like here's me in 3 different pairs that i have and wear.

im usually in the thick plastic ones because they aren't as big as the first pair and the thinnest pair isn't my percription anymore :/

I'll remember that next time I buy glasses, I just got these a few months back.

i just got my glasses too hahaha and they're men's frames, I didn't know about the square frame thing or the size thing. I like them anyway, so ->-bleeped-<- it, and it seems like I pass until they hear my stupid voice.
Oh well. Maybe I could learn to wear contact lenses, last time that didn't go very well, my eyes hated it, but things change...
Thanks for the tips though

Christopher - you're looking fine. Wonderful view!

ElioAyla - you remind me of a younger, skinnier version of a cis guy I used to work with, so pass to me.

Not 100% honest because I'm standing a bit on the side but whatever... I was told by my shrink whom I had never met prior of starting my transition that she tended to forget I was born female so I guess that's good at least though meh, I still feel my biggest problem are the hips sigh:

I get this feeling that I look fine if I would just focus on the upper portion of my body but it goes to hell as soon as you move towards the hip area. I also look very broad and masculine on the back for some reason (been doing those push-ups), but this is not at all true on the front. WHY YOU DUMB BODY. Also not wearing a binder here but a sports bra because I ran out of clean ones.

(Also for those wondering what that thingie at the bottom is, it's the top of my cat's ear.)

Here's another I took yesterday when I was trying out new clothes:

Ajtrans@

The bottom pair of frames i had for roughly 5 years and i just wanted something else. But i've reused frames in the past for sure. Does save money but it was time for a new pair for me xD

And even thoughthe bottom frames were ladies frames i think they do look quite masculine

I shall not get offended for being called cute since the guy bit is added there xD I don't get offended, just usually never know what to say when someone does say I look cute, so I suppose thank you? x3 As for the mascara trick, I'm not sure if mine at least would look in person since I don't even have a peach fuzz and it had some smeared spots here and there...  So, I can't say fully yes or no since I think it might all be about how its done.
As for pass or no, I would say pass, especially on the picture of you with your glasses. Not sure what it is, but I think so :) So yes, a definet pass and lookin' good :)

The first one is hard to tell since the bottom half of your body is cut out. However, from the pictures with the new clothes, I think it would help if you wore more baggy pants. I mean the style is totally fine, it's a popular androgynous look in Asia I believe, but generally I never wear skinny jeans due to the hip hugging nature. It might also get better if you try to develop the legs to be thicker, so they match the width of your hips. Hope that helps. But don't worry, you still pass, if I saw you on the street I'd think you were going for the K-pop star look.

Bimmer Guy

Ephemeral,
I think the shirt coming down over your hips accentuates them.  I really think any shirt that hugs one's hips, on the whole is a poor choice for transguys.

Plus, skinny jeans do accentuate the hips.  There is simply no way around that one.  Straight leg jeans drop down more in line with your hips (making more of a box shape), skinny jeans tighten around the hips and legs for the specific purpose of highlighting a person's curves.  Honestly, I am always surprised to see guys who worry about passing wearing them.

Just my two cents.

I was hoping to lose more weight on my legs so skinny looks more like thin is it called? Not straight but the one in between skinny and straigh.because of fat changes I'm quickly growing out though so they begin to look really bad because they don't fit anymore. Idk. First picture I'm hiding my hips on purpose. And yes I'm aware of the shirt issue but it looks retarded with skinny jeans unfortunately and I do like the Asian style. Oh well just losing more I guess.
