Is a loss of appetite normal on HRT? I just started yesterday but I haven't been hungry for two days. Breakfast this morning was a 90 calorie cup of yogurt. The craving I've been having for junk food is gone. I had resolved to stop the junk food today and get back on my diet but it's been really easy. I'm simply not hungry.

I WISH.  I have had an insatiable appetite for the last 6 months out of the 10 I've been on this dose

Appetite must be one of those highly variable responses to HRT. I have been less hungry on HRT.

It seems to affect people differently. Your metabolism will slow down on HRT FtM and you should eat less, if you ate like a cis male then you would put on weight.
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

Goes up and down for me. I noticed my tendency to snack dropped away - I put it down to the fact I was doing less emotional eating. So HRT can help you feel better about yourself and the eating to fill in the emotional void goes away.

I'd more likely attribute a loss of appetite to anxiety than HRT. If you lead a particularly stressful lifestyle you may need to go through special efforts just to keep anxiety away (ex. meditate.)

HRT did though sap a lot of my muscles from banishing testosterone. I loved it at the time since I was a bit too built, but it certainly is a lot harder to gain muscle than it used to be! My overall weight has settled over the past few yers to around ~20lbs less than before, which is probably consistent with overall weight ratios between male and female, especially considering I was more muscular before.

I had no changes, then less, then ravenous.

Still ravenous.  I need to reign it in. :(

I was doing fine eating very sensibly until "P" was added. Now I can't seem to eat enough, but I don't mind all that much because the extra calories are making the "girls", well, very healthy!!  :)

I've definitely noticed a lack of emotional eating/snacking. This is a definite plus I would say. I'm on a low dose of estadriol at the moment but it seems to be enough to help balance my mood already. The scale is going down again for which I am most pleased. :D

Interesting. Have others had similar experiences? I've never taken P before because my trans-specialist endocrinologist doesn't think it's particularly advantageous or necessary. But an appetite boost & some... other boost would be welcome.
