Can't tell you for 100 percent, but your facial and body structure look like T will do you well, friend. You pass well already, as well.
The more I know, the more I know I don't know.

Cap'n Bathtub, you look pretty masculine already.  T might square your jaw and strengthen your brow.  I second Devention, "T will do you well."

I also think you will do quite well on T! You have a masculine facial structure, nose and brows. I think you pass already and T will def "do you well" in my opinion.

You look like a guy to me, especially without the hat. With the hat you look a little younger, but without the hat you remind me a lot of Kevin from Supernatural. With the hat on I could see someone POSSIBLY misgendering you (very small possibility), but without the hat I think nobody would even bat an eye. To me you look like you've already been on T for at least a few months, T will do great things for you man.

Also the mural on your wall is awesome

Maleth- your facial structure is pretty masculine, but I might try getting my hair cut a little shorter on the sides...it would make it look a little less puffy and more masculine. Also, that tank top accentuates your hips and makes them look kinda womanly, but on the other hand, your biceps look awesome. If I saw you in the street you'd register as male.

Hey, Maleth!  You are a great looking guy.  Very masculine jaw line.  From what I can see (wish you were looking at camera), you pass.

Maleth - I think you look like a dude, but yeah, look at the camera!!! And I agree about the poofy hair, it really helps to pass when you get those sides trimmed.

I cannot wait to start T.     Though now that I wear a binder everyday, and I've been projecting my voice from my voicebox instead of my throat, I have been passing a lot, and that makes me glad. I think my haircut made a big difference, dying it hasn't seemed to make any difference. I feel like my face is longer, and more masculine somehow just from the haircut.

So if I pierced my septum, do you think I would pass better or worse? Your honest opinion please. I would start with a 14 gauge at least, no little rings or anything hahaha.

Elio, I've always found septum piercings fairly gender neutral. If you want it, I say go for it.
The more I know, the more I know I don't know.

I think a septum piercing would make you look more androgynous and less male than you currently look.

I tend to be one who subscribes to the idea of using a traditionally masculine male presentation unless you already pass 100% of the time (assuming your goal is to be read as male).  All "cues" should be "male cues" if you want to be read as male.  Androgynous and feminine cues will decrease your chances of being gendered as male.  Just my opinion/experience.

3 and a half months on T

I like the little bit of facial hair I have so far

Maleth

Thanks guys for the feedback. I cut it as short as I could without pissing off my family since they're touchy about my hair. I also slipped that tank top when I got home to take the picture, but yeah thanks for the tips :) I'll try to cut the sides shorter next time.

Elio, you look all guy to me with an alternative style. It's cool, very unique. I would think that septum piercing wouldnt harm your passability but I personally see liprings as a more feminine thing especially if combined with a septum one. But a septum ring seems very masculine to me.

Ryan, bro you are looking GREAT! Love that facial hair, it suits you. Head on over the badass thread, I think if someone mistook you for a women they were slightly out of it or a bit blind.

@Ryan55, youre looking good man. Im yet to start T, but hoping i will be able to by the end of the year, trans services in my area have such a long waiting time for appointments/ in between appointments. But if it works half as well for me as it does you, il be buzzing.

This is me at the moment, before starting T or before even being out to people i know. Do you think T will work well for me?

Finding it hard to work out how to post picture so here is a link to my picture http://imgur.com/vcR7Izl

Dude, you are pre T? Holy fudge. I say pass.
I would have gendered you as male, somewhere in the later teens early twenties.
If that's you pre T, you are going to be just as lucky as Ryan.

Good luck with your appointments and such, I know how much of a pain it can be to wait for everything. How things are set up where I live, I will at least have to wait three more months before I get T and I have been waiting a while already.
