I've a few of questions though.
You mentioned having GCS in Australia (6:06), and the reporter (7:07) said "some transgender women travel overseas, primarily to Thailand in the mistaken belief that surgery there is cheaper." I don't care about the price, but my belief is that it is vastly better in Thailand, not to mention the options available in the USA. I can't reconcile these viewpoints. If it had been anyone else saying that I would have ignored it, but I'd really like to know your opinions on this.
At 7:16 it quotes Rob Lyons as saying people people use private health cover. I've probably been missing something there. Is there any public information available about this, or do you just have to call them up?
The reporter said 1.2% identify as transgender (2:26). I thought the numbers were far less than that?
