I've been thinking about trying out wearing a binder because I've been having a lot of dsyphoria about my boobs .the big problem with that is it would involve coming out to everyone  and explaining my sudden apparent lack of boobs .I tried googling about binders and it seems like there are quite a few websites selling quite a few different types of binders.advice?

Personally, I have liked my underworks ultimate chest binder a lot, but haven't tried any others.

With regard to coming out, you don't really have to. I just told everyone it was a compression top for exercising/an extended sports bra. Also half the people in my family don't even notice when I wear it around them.

The kind of binder that will be right for you is very much dependent on... well, you. Personally I would stay away from T Kingdom binders. They were uncomfortable, hot and didn't really do the job even though I was small chested. Underworks are good and I liked Lesloveboat binders- they were cooler to wear than any others I tried so were good for the summer. I found 'pullovers' worked best but they're a struggle to get on.
As for coming out, if you feel you need to in order to be comfortable wearing a binder then go ahead but I don't think it's entirely necessary. Maybe if someone asks you could take them aside and explain? I was already out when I started binding but I didn't announce that I was going to start and no one asked or even seemed to notice. Whatever is comfortable for you- go for it and I wish you all the best!

I agree with the previous comments. I was quite surprised when no one in my family took note of my 'flat' chest. It probably helps that I'm not all that big to begin with, but there's also the "why would my family members analyze my chest?" factor. I pass when I go in public and I feel more comfortable hiding my chest, which is what matters to me.

Wearing a binder was much more significant to me than to others. I hadn't come out at work before it started wearing a binder to work. And I'm not small-chested.

For binder recs, I'm overweight, and have loose skin from having lost a bunch of weight already, so I like the tank style binder. I use underworks.
