What in your opinion is the most romantic death you can think of?
Even if you WOULDN'T ever want to die by said method.

I can't pick one for myself, as dead is dead, finished, end of story, stop, period.  I want to live to see the end of the universe (assuming the body regenerates and doesn't just break down to nothing.)

I agree with Chris.

I want them to scrape me off the ceiling with a permanent smile on my face :)
Not very romantic but what the heck.....

Hmmmm....perhaps listening to Scarlatti or a poem of Pablo Neruda; peaceful, quiet, no drama...

listening to calm music with my wife holding my hand!

I would think that the most romantic way to die would be in the arms of a lover/husband/wife (whichever you prefer).  But that would also be the most tramatic for them, though, to lose you that way.

Falling in love so hard that my heart explodes into 100 billion pieces!

Hopefully, not slowly.  :P

I don't think there's anything romantic about death at all.

In my opinion, possibly while kissing your lover.. then you both just die. Might just be me though...

Loving.  When we lose something that is so important to us, it's such a huge hole of a feeling, but it's also beautiful in a way because it reminds us how much we loved them and how alive we are.  Like in Spain they celebrate the day of the dead:  they celebrate and remember those they've lost and recognize death as a part of life in this marvelous, bewitching ritual.
Seems much healthier than the American way of embalming and sealing people up in boxes so their body exists as a mess of toxic chemicals in perpetuity while we stand silently in black on the side of a to be astro-turfed hole in the ground because we fear this unknown thing so much.

it's not fear.  It's greed as is everything that motivates americans.  the american ideal of a romantic way to die is to die while searching for gold.

A most cynical and uncharacteristic response.
