Does it ever end?

And is the soreness indicative of anything: boobs growing fastest when it hurts the most? There's got to be a silver lining.

There's only so much I can take. My sleep is screwed up, I can't carry anything against my chest, running is painful.

Not sure - at ten months of E mine are still hurting all the time and itching periodically.  It has at least settled down to a level that I can ignore most of the time.  (Except when I bump them! )

The pains come and go. It gets easier to deal with as time progresses. I'm two and a half years in and a couple of days of the week they're usually pretty sore. Every now and again I don't feel any pains for a few weeks, sometimes maybe a month but it comes back. Massages and hot showers do wonders for the growing pains.

My nipples now only itch like crazy but I no longer have the initial pain immediately behind my nipples.  However, as my breasts have spread, the pains have moved outwards as well.  The general aches are still there though.   I have hit a B cup (as of today - yay!) and wouldn't mind some more. I am hoping it all continues in its normal under-stated way that seems to be how it works for me.

So, ymmv but it can go on in some form for quite a while!

Oh well. I suppose I'd rather have boobs with sore nipples over no boobs and regular guy nipples. And to be honest, if that's the biggest thing I have to complain about right now, things are going pretty smoothly.

  Boob growing pains are just about the least painful part of everything I've experienced, especially versus the three hours per week of electrolysis and the future surgeries I dread.  It's also nothing compared to the 'mental pains' of life before all this and the anxiety of the whole situation.  So you see, it's easy for me to tolerate a little boob pain.

I heading toward 4 years on hormones.. my breast growth is pretty much done.. D cup was the result.. I still have days where my nipples are tender and my breasts are sore.. this apparently is normal, as cis-girls get the same thing from time to time too

tenderness is part of having breasts.. therefore part of the female experience.

On those days I ensure that i wear a padded bra.. to help protect my girls.

  I've noticed that my breasts tend to swell up slightly overnight and first thing in the morning.  (Best time to look in the mirror. )  This seems to be most of the source of pain these days and it settles down quickly in the morning.  I'm not really sure what causes it.  The rest of the day is pretty comfortable.

It comes and goes.  For me, it was most noticeable in the beginning, but I still get it.  At this point, however, I'm used to the feeling and usually it's more like background noise. Depends on the day.

Well no, in my experience it never really ends but it does get better

What I found is that the initial itching and soreness does dissipate somewhat and becomes less intense over time    But the girls do have a way of reminding me to 'Handle With Care'

For me the soreness and aching lasted about 2 years... but growth is still continuing (almost 5 years in now). Oddly enough, I never had serious soreness, and it didn't seem directly tied to development at all - that is, I've had a lot less pain than most people report, but decent size nonetheless. Boobs are weird.

20 months in, and still no signs of easing up. I thought it was easing up around the 16-18 month mark, but nope, just a few weeks ago I started another growth spurt and they started hurting the most they've hurt in this entire process.

My roommate is 5 years on E now, and still getting growing pains.

It will probably start easing up after a year or so, and only return in spurts after that, but there could still be soreness spurts for a VERY long time after that.

Sorry to drop a question on your thread. I've been on E 2 months and no signs of growth or anything. How long was it before you started feeling signs of soreness and growth?

Me?  Low dose, and about a week tops before the pain started.  Blueberry-sized lumps in about two weeks, and they aren't showing any signs of stopping months later...

4 years in and I still get sore nipples, usually for three or four days around the same time each month.

The first week they started getting sore, about 2 weeks later they were stinging like crazy.

Six months in, starting around a month or two, my nipples are sore all the time.
They're starting to itch now sometimes.
I like to think of it as the girls telling me, "We're growing!"
