Hello everyone, I'm new and I have just started taking hormones. My question is how do I take my estrogen sublingually? When I place the pill under my tongue for about 10 minutes, there is still a blue substance from the pill under my tongue, but it's all liquid, so do I have to wait until I see nothing at all or has the estrogen been absorbed already?

I usually just swallowed it after a few minutes. Some residue left is normal. And inevitably some estrogen will be swallowed too.

It's not something to worry about I don't think anyone has the data on how much winds up swallowed vs absorbed sublingualy. My personal rule is to not rinse and spit for thirty minutes. I'd rather not waste a portion that way, after years of HT sublingual it's fine on levels and such.

I like to put it between my cheek and gum... Works just as well there and much easier to talk, and even have a drink ect

Is this Progynova? The sugar in it will cause cavities on your teeth, don't do it.

It's Estrace, it doesn't say that on the bottle but it says TEVA, which is a pharmaceutical company, and I read that the only estradiol that TEVA makes is estrace.

I also take my HRT sublingually - I let it dissolve under my tongue and then drink a glass of water or juice
