I'm curious, as we all know the south can be a very hostile/unsupportive place for transgender people and the GLBT community in general. However, I have considered the idea of moving south in the future for multiple reasons. One of the biggest being climate, as I have a very difficult time coping with the northern winters (very low tolerance issues with cold air to the point of having difficulty breathing at times when it gets below 20 degrees, plus snow is just plain annoying stuff.

). Other reason is I know there are some cities in the south that DO have growing economies.
This is all speculation and info gathering for now, as this would not happen for at least 5 years or so. But I am definitely curious to find out if there are places that are TG friendly in the south that I can adapt to reasonably well socially.
