Spending a weekend at the Ritz with an ocean view.

My teacher pointed me to a fellow transman to connect with and talk to. Turns out he used to teach at my old middle school and he's contributed a lot to the transgender community. What's funny is that my middle school global history teacher wasn't surprised at finding out that I was FTM. I guess even back when I was 12-13, there were signs that I didn't see...

So a couple years back I bought some nice new Aeropostale jeans, at size 36. Well, turns out that being pre-T I had a booty that was waaaay too big for them. I also gained weight, pushing me up to a 38 with fat redistribution. I've been hanging on to them for years thinking one day they'd fit.

I've been losing a lot of weigh with my job since I do a ton of walking. I haven't even changed my diet and I lost 25 lbs. I tried on the jeans today and THEY FIT and they look really cool. I think I could hem an inch or so off the bottoms but eh.

Having a blast at my wife's company retreat.  We threw an impromptu party last night with random hotel guests from our balcony and fire pit overlooking the ocean.  It's a picture perfect day as well.  The only bummer was having to look at Jabba The Hut in a speedo while eating my lunch.

Last night during our party, our neighbors were not fazed at all when we told them we were married, but when we told her we've been married for 20 years, she looked very surprised. Then when I explained that I used to be a guy, it made a lot more sense to her.  I guess that's a pass!

Picking my kids up for the weekend :)
"I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot.
I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
The function of man is to live, not to exist.
I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time." Jack London

Lost my temper at some people at work. This wasn't my usual snarky, snippy, sarcastistic attitude teling off I give people. This was a full blown I don't care that I'm suppose to be nice to my customers. Right now I'm in a bad mood, I'm holding my baseball bat and you are looking at the 'Left Hand of God' herself. If you don't like my attitude there is the door.

I can't remember the last time I've done that, if ever. It was refreshing and bliss

Yesterday I went to my first "girls party" =)

It was quite fun! I was, as always, a bit too shy, but being a girl amongst other girls is just amazing!

Being with the boys as a boy was so boring and tedious...being with the girls is completely different! Laying on the sofa, Listening to music, cooking, talking about girls stuff, gossiping, laughing =) so much FUN!

Things have been crazy (in a good way for work) the last few days. One of our biggest clients moved his entire office/warehouse and I did all the IT stuff for him. (Moving servers, etc.) He also went with a new hosted telephone system and that was an interesting experience. After an 18 hour day yesterday and a 12 hour day today. It was a long 2 days, but very profitable. I've known the owner for 10 or so years and have done work for him off and on over the years. He and all of his employees (he has about 30 office people, 1/2 knew me before I transitioned) see me as a cis-woman now and always gender me properly since I've been full time in March. Even yesterday, working  hard and with my hair in a ponytail, dressed more for dirty work than office feminine, even the movers who had never met me before addressed me as ma'am. It was a wonderful feeling for sure.

Tonight the owner tells me, "Sydney, thank you so much for your hard work. I don't know what I would have done it you hadn't been here to get us through this move." I had help coordinate everything dealing with technology, internet and advised on the VoIP phones. I also heard through the grapevine how I was praised by him and other people. It was one of those things that on the way home tonight, brought tears of joy. To be so accepted and appreciated as me kind of overwhelmed me in a good way. Today was one of those remarkable days for me

After dealing with being called Mr. and sir and having to wait 40 minutes for my ride to pick me up, I make 1 single call to the game store using my female voice and get some great answers as well as even get called Ma'am at the end.

I'm happy right now. It's a temporary happiness that probably won't last long but, I'm happy right now so, let me be happy. Not to mention I'm looking forward to my night on the town this Thursday. :eusa_dance:

The artist who created the song I did a rap cover of for my pre-T voice comparison felt honored and shared my video on his music page. I can't stop smiling, this is literally the highlight of my day. Good to know he's LGBT friendly.

I tried on a long blonde wig when I was going through some Halloween stuff, and took a picture. When my mom saw the picture she said she couldn't believe it was me haha :) I discovered that I would look quite nice with blonde hair, too.

My brother put nair on my back. I feel so pure and clean lol. My back hairs were so thick and populous that you could hardly see the skin. It was gross haha.
