I know this is a shot in the dark but I'm hoping someone out there has the solution to my problem...

I have been given a referral by the MD on staff from my university's  student health center.... Actually I have been given multiple referrals to endocrinologists - because none of them will take a transgender patient.

Does anyone know any place south of San Antonio in Texas I can get a consultation?

I found the answer and thought I should share for the benefit of all the other "valley girls" out there. Dr. Lyon out of McAllen takes transgender patients with confirmation of psych care.

Looks like it's full speed ahead!

Hi I was wondering if that doctor is still around. I can't seem to find them.

Dr Lyon has relocated his practice to New Braunfels. The best option is a new endocrinologist who works with Dr. Twahirwa at Doctor's hospital at Renaissance. She has worked with transgender patients before moving to the RGV.

That's great! Though I'm looking for little to no therapy and quick and easy. I hope this isn't to long of a process. Thanks for the update!

Hello, I am from the Valley. Brownsville to be exact. I will ask my sister (a doctor) who you can see.  When I lived down there, there were so many doctors.  I will see what I can find out for you.
