hi,
I came across a E book on amazon called "Pink Dress Blue Dress".  I found it offensive, is it or am I wrong?

Thanks,
Ann

I wouldn't call it offensive, so much as written by an eleven year old with no real understanding of what it means to be transgender or intersex.  That's not even meant to sound snarky.  That's my honest assessment.  I can imagine a curious and imaginative child writing a story like that after their parents tried to explain what had been happening to a transsexual family member.  I could only read the first chapter without paying for it (*snicker*,) but I thought it was pretty damned funny, actually.

I don't see how it is offensive. Boring and poorly written is what I'd say about it though.

...Jane did this. And Jane did that. Then Jane did something else...  :P

I glanced at it and my impression was that English may be a second language for the author.
