Hi, I'm Charlotte.
           I am an 18 year old closet transexual. I live at home with my parents in Manchester in the UK. and About a month ago I was at the crossroads of my life. I was even considering suicide at one point. But i found the Susan's place IRC and others like me. I can honestly say it saved me. I now plan to come out to my family and start transitioning in the autumn. I hope you gals will be around to help me though it. Thank you all for your support in my dark time...

heya charlotte, feel free to post up any concerns during your transition, i'm sure everyone here will try and help, and i'm sure somebody here will be able to.  i'm sorry to hear about your suicide consideration... i've done that too... it gets better though.  i'm not far into transition myself, but i know it gets better.  i'm very lucky to have fairly understanding parents... not only gratefully, but statistically also... so i'll keep my fingers x'd that it goes ok for you.  if it doesn't, then be sure to have a good talk about it all with us lot before getting suicidal again.  i think there's always somebody around these boards.

well on the upside, you are at a good young age to be able to do something about it all; be glad you didn't bottle it up until much later in life.  i think, you shall be beautiful soon!  wish you all the best.

ummm jessica, charlotte isn't a member here anymore.  in fact her introduction is dated back in 2005.
