Reading this post, I realize that even if I've been thinking about being trans, what that means or implies, in which it defines new identities and so on, for a very long time, I never thought about being trans and have a different gender expression than one's gender identity. Interesting to think about that. After all, I know a lot of (more or less) cismen that are really "fem", so why a transmen couldn't ?!
[Now I ask myself even more questions about who I am and how I can explain it clearly to myself...]
But perhaps a new question that could be interesting for others too : is gender expression something "real" ? I mean, knowing that what are considered as feminine or masculine behaviors or tastes depends on the society, can I feel feminine or masculine or only masculine/feminine for the middle-european XXIst century society ? And does it still have any sense ? And as XXIst century middle european society doesn't consider that a "neutral" gender expression exists, how can I feel that it is my gender expression ?!
