I've know for about ten years that I'm not a girl but last year when I came out to my parents they said that isnt possible because I'm to feminine. I love girly things like hello kitty, animes ment for girls like Say "I Love You" and others I love fashion especially Japanese and Korean fashion I love pastel colors floral everything and dress and also sewing. Is it possible I'm just a feminine male?

"Can I be feminine and still be FTM?"

YES. YES YES YES.

I am seriously considering starting a facebook page for femme men (both cismen and transmen), because this keeps coming up.

If I sound angry, I'm just so distressed that the people in our lives are treating multiple trans guys in this way. (I've only been involved in this for the past 2 months.)

It's also possible that you'd feel best identifying as non-binary, though. Have you been to that section of the forum yet? I'm very passionate about this topic, but don't want to push you into an identity because of my personal beliefs. Just remember: You can like anything you want, but it doesn't define your psychological gender, who you feel like you are inside.
Just a little faerie punk floating through this strange world of humans.

I used to worry about being "too feminine to be a man", but then I realized that cis men can be super femme and still be men.  :P So yep, you can be feminine and still be FTM.

YES!
Gender expression does not define your gender identity! I hope your parents are willing to learn about this.

Gender is about what you feel inside. I feel like a guy. What I wear, watch, do, the way I talk, the way I walk... has nothing to do with it. Are there other guys who like the things you like? Probably, so why couldn't you be a guy and like them? Come join the ranks of 'not-conventional' men :D After all femininity and masculinity is just what society has decided it is.

yes indeed :)

male/female do not inherently correlate with masculine/feminine – it is merely society that tries to insist they do.

in other words, masculinity, femininity and all stops around and between are gender possibilities for anyone, regardless of sex – be that male, female, intersex, non-binary, whatever – and whether someone's sex is trans or cis or whatever makes no difference.

Yes. Exactly as the opposite, MTF can be (extremely) masculine.

Gender identity and gender expression are not the same thing. Drag queens are not women (unless they feel that way).

There is a trans man who is also a well known drag queen, his name is Adrian Dalton.

Not being a woman doesn't automatically make you a man, but only you can know how you want to live your life. It might take some time to figure that out, but that's ok!

Yes, you can certainly be an 'otomen'. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. (Great manga by the way)^_^
I am male because I say so and nothing more.
I don't have to look or act like one therefore.

Of course you can! And don't let anyone make you feel otherwise.

It's things like this that keep reminding me I most often shouldn't try to determine someone's identity or sexuality from their appearance or personality, as much as it seems to be a hard-wired human instinct to do so.  This makes it so awkward and difficult for me when trying to judge if someone could be a compatible partner.  I've simply ended up never asking because it's too damned complicated and potentially embarrassing.

That said, a fem FTM is something I've only learned about recently.  It's got me thinking that this could be a type of person I could fit well with as a partner.  I've frequently found myself drawn towards FTMs, but this breaks down when the masculine changes from T and surgery enter the mix.  I get so confused if I'm best off personality-wise with an FTM anyway or my stronger instinct towards cis lesbians.  I don't know anymore.  It seems like too difficult a task to dig out a non-op/non-T and/or fem FTM while still having everything else about them work out.  At the same time it makes me wonder if having these tendencies means I'd actually never fit right with a lesbian partner.  Could I fit with both and be mildly bi?  And then there's the little matter of whether or not they want to have anything to do with a fem MTF...

  Arrrgh, so confusing!

Reading this post, I realize that even if I've been thinking about being trans, what that means or implies, in which it defines new identities and so on, for a very long time, I never thought about being trans and have a different gender expression than one's gender identity. Interesting to think about that. After all, I know a lot of (more or less) cismen that are really "fem", so why a transmen couldn't ?!

[Now I ask myself even more questions about who I am and how I can explain it clearly to myself...]

But perhaps a new question that could be interesting for others too : is gender expression something "real" ? I mean, knowing that what are considered as feminine or masculine behaviors or tastes depends on the society, can I feel feminine or masculine or only masculine/feminine for the middle-european XXIst century society ? And does it still have any sense ? And as XXIst century middle european society doesn't consider that a "neutral" gender expression exists, how can I feel that it is my gender expression ?!
[I'm French speaking so... sorry if I make mistakes in English !]

Gender is a social construction. It's all going to be socially and culturally based. In a world experiencing rapid globalization, it's more likely than ever that cultural gender lines are a bit blurry. But it's all still made up by people, so by all means, be whatever you want.

Certainly! The ammount of transman crossdressers I've seen is intense.
