Sounds like I'm about the only one who likes the foam best and it is based on... it smells like what my dad used.
If I'm traveling I use a gel that it's in a small tube, which I do like. Of course I don't have to shave very much-- somewhat like the average 15 year old.

At 15, I was a daily shaver..  Not a curse I'd wish upon anyone - even those that like the face fur..
