Okay so I'm gender fluid, usually more male than female and been in online school for the past 2 years but my mom says that since next year is my senior year, I have to go to a physical school again, and I don't want to be introduced to all those people as my extremely feminine birth name. It's still almost an entire year away so I'm not freaking out yet, but I need advice. What I think I could do is prepare a bunch of short notes saying something like "The name ___________ is my birth name but when you role call please refer to me as Tristan instead and use they/them/their pronouns or don't use pronouns at all and just use my name. Sorry for the inconvenience." or something like that and make sure I get to all the classes early and hand one to the teacher and ask them to read it before roll call. I'm just afraid of a teacher refusing to do it and outing me by calling me my birth name or being confused and calling my parents (I'm sure I'll be out by the first parent teacher conferences but I'm not so sure I'll be out by the first day of school.) Does anyone have any other ideas so I don't have to go through another year of everyone knowing me as a girl?
Also, this is semi-unrelated but if I'm going to school, I'll have to talk so does anyone have any advice or vocal exercises for getting a deeper voice?
