I have yet to see a gender therapist or anything like that and in the last 3 winters I have used heavy machinery and I am sure that a gender therapist and doctor would have these answers but is it a good idea to operate heavy equipment machinery while on Hormones? I have heard that hormones have different results and ways that it makes you feel and in my current job I deal with guests on a regular basis and my job is to get them up the ski resort mountain a safetly manner and I was just curious if I did start taking hormones would there be any side affects that would not be good for the job that I am doing? I am just curious is all and when it comes to hormones I don't have a clue about anything, lol

Estrogen has some odd effects but not directly on operating heavy machines.  However,  you maybe suddenly start feeling like a human and that could have an effect.   Never underestimate the power of suddenly being yourself.

It's true that your mileage may vary on HRT, but women operate machinery and drive cars under the influence of estrogen all the time.

Side effects may include happiness, joy and making small creatures even more adorable.

Nope no stickers on it saying anything about those possible issues.

Think you will be ok. I worked in the construction field and had no issues.

Also agree with the other girls remarks.

I found Estrogen is no problem, but taking progesterone (Microgest) it would be impossible for a few hours. It can be very difficult to even stand up. That doesn't appear to be a common reaction though.

For the first few years of hrt, I was loading and unloading bulk materials on ships and at times operating heavy equipment including shipboard cranes. Never caused an issue.

Lower T may diminish physical strength.
