Hi all,

This is an issue that only relates to Scottish trans people who have registered with Sandyford clinic in Glasgow, they have accidentally revealed the identities of 86 trans patients in a group email they sent out. Posting it here so it gets maximum exposure, if you have registered with Sandy ford I'd recommend giving them a call to see if you need to change your email address or anything. Call them on 0141 211 8130 between 8:30 and 16:30

Basically they sent out an email with all of their patients email addresses in the 'to' line, revealing them all. Unfortunately some of these emails revealed full names and date of birth as well. Keep yourself safe X

Oh Sandyford...sad thing is this isn't even the first time I have encountered something like this from them, I received a letter from them a while ago that was wrongly filled out and had the name (pre and post transition) of a trans person living in Glasgow...along with their home address :(

I know that they are understaffed and under stress...but really, of all the patients who's information you need to be sensitive with...
You say "Using humor as a defence mechanism" like it's a BAD thing!
