So wow, been years since I've posted here..

Finally had my surgery!! Chet all the way, actually I'm in Thailand right now about seven days post op!! Not sure why I have to stay for a month, not even two weeks post op yet and already I feel amazing!

I'm not sure how to express how excited I am and how happy I now am!!

Dr Chet did an amazing job, obviously I can't make any definitive judgements til a few more months but with over 6 full inches(almost 7) for depth and literally no real pain at all save fir the first few mins of dilating(course I might think it hurts more as I move to the number 2 next week then the 3 a few after), but then for the last bit I actually start to get turned on...

I've got to say this has been an amazing transition all the way for me!! My girlfriend is really excited to get to play as well with my new... umm... equipment :-)

I am curious how many other girls have gotten things fixed by dr Chet, did you get great results as well and how long till the numb areas gain sensation? One side that was numb has slowly been getting feeling back each day but the other side is still completely numb except for a small piece. Obviously speaking about the skin on the outside, inside I seem to have fine sensation, actually needing to make sure I don't attempt to play with my newly built and FINALLY correct body.

Perhaps I'm just crazy, I'm not even two weeks post op yet(actually think I JUST hit 7 days post) and still have 24 days til I can had home, so expecting to have the sensation back on the outside shady is a bit crazy..

But I always heal fast and recovery at ridiculous rates.

Anyway, lol forward to the feedback and info any of you have!!

And if anyone wants to meet up that's here in Thailand now let me know and I'll message you where I am and room number or we can maybe go to the mall that's just down the street from my motel.

*edit*
Wanted to share my favorite memory thus far from my trip.

Waking up(or at least knowing I was finally awake) and being scared something went wrong or for some reason the surgery didn't happen. All of the nurses kept saying, "you beautiful girl now", and I'm looking around trying to figure out if everything is ok. Dr Chet comes in and tells me everything is ok, the surgery went very well and he's very happy and I'll be very happy. I remember taking his hand and asking him to say again that it was fine and my surgery was done. He trashes my hand in both if his and looked at me and said it again, it was done!! Finally, everything is good and I'll be very happy with my surgery.

I still cry from how happy I am. I don't think I've worn anything inside my room yet in 7 days except for while the two hotel maids are here cleaning or for when my food is dropped off in the morning it at night.

I'm DONE!!! Finally yay!!!

I am not one of Chett's Chicks. but I will still say congratulations and hopes for un-eventful and rapid healing.  Nerve sensations and mapping do take from days to a few months based on exactly what was under the path of the knife as far as smaller bundles go.
I refuse to have a war of wits with a half armed opponent!!

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!

Very happy for you Samantha!
I also did my GRS with Chett (+ BA for good mesure) just over 10 weeks ago and like you, it went remarkably well. If you are interested you will find quite a detailed account of my experience right up until now on this thread :https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,169593.0.html
In a nutshell, I am already back doing everything I enjoy, including work, that much happier to have finally dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's.
Wishing you all the best as you move forward with your recovery.

Just ending week 13 and like Donna everything operation wise has gone well. Dr Chet's work is looking great and pretty much healed well. Sensation wise everything returned by week 5-6 - boy that was a few interesting days. I'm glad your girlfriend is there with you. Just be careful not to play too early despite temptations. Once the surface stitches have disolved away you should be ok - but healing will continue and It is good not to tear newly formed scars. Especially around the clitoris.

Say hello to Sri Noi and Rose

I'm a Chett girl too and I am very satisfied with my beautiful 'unclockable' vagina lol!  :D I just started having my orgasm 4 months post-op. (Hint:You need to play in circular motion with your clit and BOOM!). Say hi to the nurse Si and Rose on my behalf MUAH!

That really wonderful news Samantha. I had been recently wondering how you were.

You must be so happy and deserve it.

Wow... I'll be at the Bangkok Rama in four days, although sadly only for FFS. I had to make a hard choice about what was more important when not passing.

Your original thread was one of those things that inspired me to transition, BTW.

Congrats, big hugs, and many cheers!!!!! Yes. What an eventful occasion!

I came from a Thai surgeon significantly less reputable than Chet and I have fine sensation. Yes go easy on the sensation for a little while  ::) but I think I was definitely there within a month or two  :D

Enjoy your short stay (for me it was at least 4-6 weeks or so) in the women's world of wearing pads!  :o I thought of it as like getting all my periods over with at once. It was also nice getting to use those little trash bins in restroom stalls for something other than discarded 3M tape.

Samantha! I'm in Thailand at the moment as well and had my SRS + BA a week ago on Nov 1st! Found out my depth yesterday to be 7 inches and Im so extremely happy! I am staying at the bangkok rama hotel. Wish we could meet. I feel a bit lonely here lol. I haven't met or seen anyone yet who had their surgery with dr chettawut.
15 years on HRT and going, started at age 16.

SRS+BA done in Bangkok, Thailand by the hands of Dr Chettawut Tulayaphanich and his team on November 1, 2014.

Well, looks like a big family of sutures there. I'm pretty bored as I al right Noa, all just done and not allowed to leave. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to speak a more clearly (trach shave). Samantha is literally being my savior here now that I'm the one at the other end of the receiving stick.
