Does anyone have some before and after exercise photos? Specifically, the type of exercise designed to help shape your hips/butt/etc. to be more female-oriented.

I've been meaning to get on an exercise schedule for this for forever. I some times feel underwhelmed and do nothing, thinking that it won't do much for me anyway. I would love some inspiration.

Here's a link to a well-known video aimed at accomplishing this sort of thing, for further reference:

Take up competitive level speed skating or cycling, those people have massive curves.

But seriously, unless you're going to train at an elite level, trying to spot build/reduce is a bit of a waste of time.

I used to be a professional ballet dancer and later a personal trainer, so I have some idea of what I'm talking about.

I've been on HRT a couple of times within the last 5-years and I can tell you that my shape changed quite a butt, er... bit.

An ass oriented training may help to get the good curves. Avoid to build abs if you got a pot belly (fat + muscle = bigger belly) you won't reduct your stomach fat with abs but just add a layer of muscle over.

Try doing an ass training here one similar to the one I follow
the most important move is the one between 14:00 and 16:30, try to use ankle weights for this one if you can.
don't forget to take 2 days off  for legs training if you do the entire workout.

Thank you for the replies and the advice. In regard to fat loss, though, I'm not worried about that -- really, I'm concerned mostly about adding definition and volume to typically feminine areas.

So ass training is pretty much what you need. I know not everyone cares about details like this but well I do. This kind of workouts made me feel better with my body, I'm hard on myself sometimes but I have regular comments on my curves and it help my self esteem a lot :)

Just plain walking will build up your glutes.  I walked over 500 miles last summer, usually 3 or 4 miles at a time.

I refer to the results as "Kardashian Butt".  I really can't compare, but it certainly feels a lot bigger.
