I've really enjoyed reading this thread. It's neat seeing what you other girls carry in your purse, but let's be honest out there. How many wound up cleaning their purse while looking to see what you have in your purse? Mine was empty To begin with, so no cleaning here.

I did remove everything, yes. And failed to report that I also found a few receipts that I probably threw in there in lack of a better place - some were months old...

Compact with mirror and lipstick in outside pocket, cell phone in other outside pocket, in zipper inside pouch, credits cards, ID, change and a little cash. In main body, very small umbrella (I HATE getting wet), check book, a small polished rock that reminds me to be kind to others (long story), small hair brush, small bottle of hand lotion and the bottle of whatever color nail polish I am wearing. + of course keys to car/house/office. I avoid a purse any larger than what this stuff will fit in to avoid ending up carrying too much crap in it.

If I have pants or a coat with pockets, I usually carry my phone or pepper spray there instead so they're easier to get to in an emergency.

I carry panty liners because it seems every time I urinate no matter how well I wipe the area I still leak some afterwards thus, it's a necessity. I do keep tampons at my house for my friends cause they never seem to have any when they are visiting me. I've had friends ask me for tampons when we are out and I remind them that "I don't have periods."

My purse?

Two pairs of glasses. At any point in time I'll be wearing reading glasses, distant vision glasses, or distant vision sunglasses, all prescription, so two of those are always in my purse.

Lipstick and/or lip balm, powder, a comb, pencil eyeliner, eye brow highlighter, nail clipper, and nail file, all for touch ups if needed.

Checkbook, wallet (with credit cards, insurance cards, id cards, cash, change), pen, and corporate ID badge for when I have to go to the main office campus.

House keys, car keys (when not in the car), cell phone, and cell phone charger.

Yes I carry a lot. 🙂 And I love it. I am so much better organized with my purse than a guy trying to keep things in pockets!
