I haven't posted much on here lately (when some of your old habits have started creeping back into your life due to the way you have been feeling, it's best to try to concentrate on making yourself better), an interesting question of sorts was posed to me the other day.

Do you have certain songs that you go out of your way to listen to, when you are feeling down?

Even though I have posted a similar topic in the past, this one is more specific. And as I thought about my answer, I realised that I have a whole lot of groupings of songs for my various moods, even going so far as separating them into different playlists on my iPod.

For starters, I have a playlist of songs for when I am in a happy/joyful mood. A playlist for when I am in a party mood. A playlist for when I want to reminisce. A playlist for romantic times. A playlist for when I am down, and want to stay down. A playlist for when I am down, and want to pick myself back up. A playlist for when I am travelling to and from work. And a playlist specifically for days when I am headed for appointments related to my transition, such as doctor appointments, therapist appointments, laser appointments etc...

Does anyone else do this?

I have a whole list of songs, and a bunch of YouTube link to video's that play them, so I can listen whenever I need to.

I find that my mood often doesn't predict what songs I want to hear.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?
