The other day I asked an elderly friend what she was doing for Thanksgiving, she looked rather forlorn as she said she was going to be alone    Being in the same boat because I had no-where to go and no-one to be with I invited her over and her face just lit up

I was scared to death because I am horribly broke right now and I've never made a Thanksgiving dinner before

Yipes!!! What had I got myself into? What was I going to do?    Well I got on the net and looked up some recipes, made a list and hopped on my bike and headed for the grocery store, I was on a mission

Pretty sure I could hear my credit card squeal in fear as I slide it through the payment devise

Worked on it all through the night and at 1PM Thursday the hour of reckoning had come and my neighbor was at the door

Well, she was shocked, amazed and delighted and we had a nice little Thanksgiving together

As for that squeal of fear, I think your fear was making you hear things or perhaps, it really was the card and it wasn't fear but, something more, happy. xD Really though, I wouldn't worry too much. It'll work out somehow or another so fear not. *Hugs once more*

Just found out tonight that someone I went to high school with some 25 years ago is an advocate for a local transgender support group and her pre-teen daughter just recently transitioned to a boy. I connected to her thru another social media site tonight, came out to her myself and we are going to meet for coffee on 12/11 and catch up.

Walking to the local shops today, a car load of guys drove past stops and asks
"Excuse me are you a guy or a girl?"
Instead of keeping quiet or giving some smart alec response. I actually said "I am a girl" . They just nodded and drove away
I mean yes it is true I am a girl, but I found my voice. WOO HOO!!

Dad just told me that this time in 2 weeks, we'll be in Disney World

It's raining.  FINALLY!!!

I just buffed and shined my finger nails, they look so nice and pretty. Small things feel so great!

Well, you just made me happy. I totally forgot I was going to paint my nails till I saw this and if I'd forgotten, it might be a long time till I got to wear it again. Thank you! I think I'll go with pink polish.

My daughter ate her WHOLE dinner! Woohoo!

Downside: it was a Happy Meal. At least it tasted better than my salad.

I checked the postal status and I discovered that my package with the Get Along Gang Clubhouse Caboose, along with the complete dozen of the Get Along Gang figurines might be arriving tomorrow!!

I shot 30 rounds through the AR-15 tonight. I so love that gun. My Brother-in-law was recording it.

Thanks words can not express how nervous I was at that moment. I was just thinking does my voice pass,  do I look alright, what will they do when I say I'm a girl, but I am so glad I said "I AM A GIRL"

Hope your package comes tomorrow Laura. That would mean one person enjoys her Monday
