Hey gals,

I just wanted to share something with you. I'm FtM, but I think this may be nice for you all to to read. I worked in a pharmacy a few years ago, and we had a MTF patient. Fast forward to 4 years in the future. On my way to class I ran into the same patient at my pharmacy. At first, I did not know for sure if that was her, but I took a chance and walked up to her to check. Come to find out, it was my old patient. She looked so wonderful.

We talked for a while, and I learned that she had gotten married to a nice man, got a job offer, and was even looking into adopting kids. While I was talking to her, I was struck by how beautiful and happy she was. She was a far cry from the person I had met four years ago. If I had never met her before, I would have never guessed that she was a trans lady. We talked for a while, and during this time, and she gave me hope for the future. She told me her story and gave me a hug and a kiss at the end.

I guess, my whole point of this was that to all the ladies who are going through rough times now, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Don't be afraid of who you are. Don't worry about who will love you. You are lovely, beautiful women, and you will find happiness one day.

Hey, no worries!

I want to tell so much of her story. She is such a wonderful human in so many ways. I have been so worried about everything in regards to my transition, but she gave me so much hope. I hope that one day I can be half the man that she is as a woman. I hope that makes sense.

On a total side note: Cindy, I love your dress in your avatar! And your legs are absolutely beautiful. <3

There was a quote from Carletta who founded the Les Girls male female drag troupe in Sydney.  " I'm more of a woman that you will ever have, and more of a man that you will ever be.' It still rings true from both sides.

I have met several FtM in Adelaide they have been great, fortunately T works well on them. I hope it works very well on you.

You sound a very nice man and I send you my love and my thanks.

Transition is an evolution. My early attempt at it were barfable and laughable.

Now I am the mayor's wife of Bonerville to some LOL

An enormously BIG   Thank you   Ayden.

That is just such an inspiring experience.   Just goes to prove;  you don't have to see it, to have it.

You can create your future.       It further proves   such goals are not impossible or unrealistic, but well within our scope of understanding and DESIRE.

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start,  anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.

Ayden;  I wish you such success  in your quest for your desires.  And again, a heartfelt thanks for relating this meeting.

Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv
Catherine

OMG! This is a 2011 thread!

It was still a good read though.
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Thank you. I am going through a rough time now - realizing how small is the pool of people who might be romantically interested in me. Nice to hear things are going much better elsewhere.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?
